Timeless beauty

Very clean, very interesting decor and amenites. Everywhere you looked there was a special touch, from the design of the rooms, the breakfast buffet, the garden patio, pool table room, books, large chess set, fife and tea 24/7. This reminded me of glacier or Yellowstone lodge, where you are immersed in a special atmosphere and can fully relax. Everyone who worked there was really nice and engaging. You could tell they loved their jobs too!! I would love to return for a few days with a loved one for a perfect escape.

Cozy with many sitting rooms and fireplaces.. cookies, coffee in afternoon. Room spacious. Carma at the front desk so wonderful and helpful! Gave us a tour when we arrived, gave restaurant tips too! Walked 10 mins to the waterfront for dinner and shopping. Will return for sure!

Most of the staff was friendly and quite nice. The breakfast was excellent, The main issue was the excessive heat on the third floor. We found out the next day that there was a fan in the closet. A simple note alerting us to that fact would have been helpful Also, I found their charge to move up check in most irritating

great little place walking distance to old town

This is an old converted victorian. The staff is great. The bathrooms are newly renovated. The place is spotlessly clean. There are a couple of common rooms with fireplaces, perfect for that chilly March weather to sit, drink coffee, and read a good book. The decor is on the eclectic, funky side but we liked that. And location, location, location. It's a 5 minute walk to old town. Would definitely stay here again.
