The staff went out of their way to help us. The breakfasts were extensive and delicious. And it is in a fantastic location to check out all sites in Prague. Also loved the art deco style and the comfortable sitting room.

Charming hotel

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was very clean and comfortable bed and room. The room was a bit small but very quaint and lovely. The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. The breakfast was very good and included in the stay. the lobby lounge was very nice. We really enjoyed the free coffee and baked goods during the day that was available. The location was very central to old town. We would stay here again. Thank you.

Extremely charming old world style property. Very good breakfast buffet included. Great little touches such as all day free specially coffee mashine, red wine, white wine, all free. Very helpful staff with information. The 'comfort' room IS small, but adequate for a few days. My biggest complaint, EXTREMELY uncomfortable toilet seat in our room...# 553.

Great location in Old Town. Typical European bedding-a duvet with no sheet. AC was not cool enough, so we would pull the covers on and off all night being too hot or too cold. Would be much better with a top sheet. Location is great, walkable to everything in Prague Old Town, New Town areas. Close to the river and bridges as well as the castle.

The Haštal unlike traditional stays is a unique experience. The hotel has a lot of history to it and the recent renovations are designed towards the history and surroundings of the place. Clean , comfortable, safe . Well maintained and run.

This is a gem of a hotel. Excellent breakfast options, lots of variety at no charge. Very comfortable bed. Coffee machine and free wine in the lobby. Nice patio at the top of the stairs. Close to restaurants and about a15 minute walk to the Charles bridge, the old town and train station. I highly recommend this hotel and I would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay in the Old Quarter. The building is old and charming - though ever so slightly musty. Perfect location in the heart of the sights. Pros -Hot, powerful shower, sparkling clean bathroom -Welcone drink and delicious breakfast -Helpful staff -Bed was hard but comfortable -Charming sitting area stocked with games -Small library with books to borrow -Lovely courtyard Cons -Main one was a slight musty smell -Safe was about to lose function due to low battery - alerted staff day 1 of 3 night stay - never fixed despite gentle reminders. Not a deal-breaker for me, but was surprised it didn’t get rectified before we checked out.

Prague is a great destination’s

Great place to stay: friendly staff, well decorated and maintained. Great breakfast with freshly made pastries. In close proximity to The most fun click I have ever seen: the astronomical clock on the hour changes with many figures moving. Be sure to arrive early as is crowded. Go to Charles Bridge for sunsets and lighting, but get there before so you can see the statues. Visit the castle across the river from Old Town for stained glass windows. The walk is either up many steps or a road without steps, both from the east side. Also a good view of Prague from the wall before entering the castle area. Pay for cathedral entry at Info building across from main door. Public transport is free for over sixty-fivers, and one ticket for 24 hours validated on first use for all others. A very good pizza place near the Old Town square.(the west side)

We loved this hotel--old-fashioned, charming, well-located, and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was a nice bonus. Hotel Hastal is located very close to everything, but is also quiet and away from the massive crowds of Old Town Square. Highly recommend.
