Worth it for a night or two
Pros:clean, central location and very convenient in distance to points of interest, public transport and other amenities
Cons:check-in process - staff morale (?) as they didn't seem all that happy to be at work let alone be welcoming to foreign visitors arriving.
We arrived in the evening on the 19th March and was second in line behind a small group. It was confusing, slightly rude and unwelcoming the way we were addresed when asked to proceed to the secondary concierge point that was located behind the main concierge desk to check in. Peter (?) was unwelcoming & did not looked pleased in having to serve us through the check in process. As there was some construction drilling taking place, it was hard to hear and we could hear the entire directive/instructions post check-in. We didn't realise that breakfast was included (possibly charged) as part of our booking and therefore had not utilised the service until after checking out and reviewing the booking. The room allocated was located on the second floor, directly above the construction area and the constant drilling was vibrating through the floors - although tired from travels, we were forced to leave the room as quickly as we could. Since the check-in process was so abysmal, we hadn't bothered going through the pain of requesting for a change of rooms. Luckily for us the drilling moved to a different point the next day and was more tolerable the next morning before we headed out for the day. The room was pleasant and clean and was stylish in furnishings. We had booked a Superior Double with City view room for 2 nights, we did not receive the room (?) as the one we were in had no view and is small in size unlike the photos shown which lead us to believe we didn't get what was booked

We are very sorry, that you felt unwelcome during the check in process, which was probably happen because of busy moment of our front desk and by noise during the reconstruction of our wellness area. Of course, this is not an excuse for that, we take this comment very seriously, we will focus on the behaviour of our staff and prepare some trainings for them and make sure that every guest will feel welcome while staying with us.
