Welcome to Lokahi House! Beautifully decorated, well-appointed, and ideally situated, Lokahi House is the perfect setting for your unforgettable stay in Provincetown. Located in the near West End just seconds away from several Provincetown favorites and only minutes to Tea Dance, this idyllic home is tucked quietly away between Commercial and Bradford Streets and is just steps from all the action.

Set behind a charming white fence is a beautiful private courtyard and garden, where you can relax and unwind -- fire up the outdoor grill and soak up the sunlight, or take in the magical twilight hours or evening stars.

Just off the private courtyard is the main entrance to Lokahi House. Upon entering the home, you are greeted by an open-concept, renovated kitchen and reimagined living/dining room. Thoughtfully designed and wonderfully appointed with brand new furnishings, this zen space is a wonderful spot to relax and unwind.

Just off the living room is a first bathroom, clad in beautiful blue tiles and featuring a modern walk-in shower equipped with a rain shower head.

A charming hallway library takes you into the rest of the Lokahi House. Books, board games, cards and card games, puzzles, and a few other fun items in the library's collection are perfect for a lazy afternoon -- take a look and see if anything piques your interest!

A first "guest" bedroom offers a queen size bed and plenty of storage. A closet and an antique dresser provide more than enough space to comfortably unpack, and a mini split system will ensure that its guests are kept cozy and comfortable in warm or cool weather.

A bonus "family" room makes yet another great lounge spot. Bright, warm, and inviting, the bonus room includes a second smart TV, which is great if you can't agree on which season of Drag Race to binge watch. The sofa in the bonus room folds out into a full size bed and can serve as another sleeping option for a guest.

Finally, a second "master" bedroom, situated in the front of the house, offers a queen size bed, en suite bathroom, mini-wet bar, sitting area, and direct access to a private, fenced-in front porch. The master bedroom also has a mini split system to ensure its guests comfort during their stay.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE BEFORE BOOKING LOKAHI HOUSE:

1. We love pets dearly, but we unfortunately cannot accommodate pets at Lokahi House. Lokahi House is a pet-free rental. Good news for those with allergies, but bad news for those with beloved four-legged family members.

2. There is no private parking offered with Lokahi House. The good news is that you're unlikely to need to drive anywhere while you're in town. Lokahi House is truly in a superb location -- you'll be able to easily walk to and from all the businesses on Commercial Street (the closest one being Pop+Dutch, which is on the same block as Lokahi House), Tea Dance (~2-min walk), the gym (Mussel Beach Gym is across the street), numerous harbor beaches (the closest one being a block away), the Boston Fast Ferry drop-off at MacMillan Pier (~12-min walk), the jetty/causeway (~12-min walk), and (very importantly!) the grocery store (Stop & Shop is a ~6-min walk away). For some of Provincetown's great beaches, hikes, and trails that are a bit farther away, you'll probably want a bike. Good news: the closest bike rental shop is Ptown Bikes, which is a 1-min walk from Lokahi House.

3. Lokahi House has a full-sized washer and dryer in the basement of the house that will be available for your use during your stay.

Amazing stay during a holiday weekend!

Tom’s property was the perfect price and location. It was about a 10-15 minute walk to everywhere you wanted to be and was quiet especially at night. The house fitted both my friends needs and was very comfortable. Tom was truly super communicative and helpful anytime I needed to reach him especially when it came to check in/out which made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

Small and cute 2 br West End rental

The rental is a clean and well decorated 2 bedroom on the first floor with two small living room spaces. Can comfortably sleep 4. Upsides: The location is terrific on the West End of Ptown and around the corner from a great bike shop. It's very quiet at night, and the hosts are *super* responsive and considerate -- they responded immediately when there were any issues and really went above and beyond to help. There's an outdoor area with some pretty flowers that's shared with the cottage next door along with a grill. The interior is well decorated and the AC and fans kept everything cool on hot days. The master bedroom with en suite bathroom is pretty big, and the beds in both the master bedroom and guest bedroom are super comfortable. It's laid out in a way where you can work in one of the living rooms without getting disturbed by people hanging out in the other one. Downsides: The kitchen is small, and you'll have a hard time fitting more than four people around the small dining table -- probably not a great choice if you plan to cook most of the time you're there. The two living rooms are comfortable but also small.

Perfect Stay in Provincetown

I recently stayed in Tom's property in Provincetown for a week over the 4th of July holiday. From the very beginning, Tom was great about answering questions I had about the property or check in process. The instructions I received prior to arriving in town were clear and made it stress free. Once I arrived, I was greeted by a nice welcome basket of goodies and a yellow folder that outlined EVERYTHING I could possibly need to know for my stay at the property and in Provincetown. The property was extremely clean and looked exactly as it appears in the pictures online. Luckily, I had the place to myself, but could have easily shared the space with 3-4 more people very comfortably. The location was perfect - close enough to walk to anything and everything, but also tucked away off the main street so it was quiet and private. The check out process was outlined in the yellow folder and easy to follow. This was my fourth time in Provincetown and this was easily the nicest property I have stayed at. I would highly recommend Tom's property for anyone looking for an updated, clean, spacious, centrally located place to stay while in town. Thanks again for the amazing place, Tom! -Andrew

Amazing home, PERFECT location, and extremely knowledgeable/responsive host

It was great to stay at Lokahi House (thanks for having us!) the location was perfect. It’s an easy walk to pretty much everything the town has to offer; boatslip is just round the corner, and the breakfast place (Pop & Dutch) and Liz’s are just a stone throw away! It was extremely convenient to be very close to the action but able to disconnect in a quiet, beautiful home (loved the outdoor sitting area). The layout of the unit is perfect for families/groups. Both bedrooms offer a a good amount of privacy. The library had a great selection of books and board games so there’s always something to do even on a rainy day. The host, Tom was extremely knowledgeable about the area. Extremely prompt responses and great suggestions on restaurants and places to check out (thanks so much for the “be sure to make a reservation tip”)! Overall it was a fabulous time! We definitely will be back.

Great accommodations in a perfect location

Tom's place was absolutely lovely! Very clean and nicely decorated. Plenty of space for lounging and relaxing, inside and out. I love the rocking chair in the living room. Super cute and comfy. The little library has a nice selection of books and games to help keep you entertained on a rainy day or just a quiet night in. The location is great. Right on the edge of the central business district. So it's a short walk to all the action, but nice and quiet when it's time to turn in for the night. I'll definitely be staying here again and will recommend to all of my friends. Thank you Tom for this sweet spot and for being a pleasure to work with!
