We arrived late at night (11pm) and was greeted by the front desk. It was an easy process. When we arrived to our room we noticed that it wasn’t clean. Urine on the toilet seat. Hair in the shower. Bed wasn’t fully made and the toilet paper holder was broke along with black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. I would have asked for a new room but it was so late and I just wanted to shower and go to bed. When we checked out this morning the gentleman at the front desk said that they were short staffed due to Christmas and apologized for it not being clean. We didn’t have the breakfast this morning. I’m sure it was fine. The bed was fine and pillows were good. Overall we were disappointed.

The whole hotel common area smells like trash and farts. We thought something must have accidentally spilled or leaked right before we got there but the disgusting smell remained the entire stay. Our room was not clean. Finger prints and water damage around doors and doorknobs and on bathroom fixtures and appliances. The toilet had been used and not cleaned. Yes, actual poop stains in our room toilet when we arrived. Disgusting. Never again. For the price and location, we couldn’t have been more let down.

Overall the hotel needs a deep clean. Walls need to be scrubbed, shower doors need a hard water remover and then to be properly cleaned going forward. Several maintenance issues. Bedrooms are hard to regulate temperature in the suites, then the vent blows directly on you all night long. Our first night stay there were so many people in the pool and hot tub way past posted hours, they were extremely loud. I’m not sure if the people next to us were part of the pool crowd but they were up and really loud til 2am or so. To not offer house keeping on the weekend is absolutely ridiculous. Bed sheets smelled like they were stored or handled in a location where fried food was cooked. Our pillow cases smelled of a fast food restaurant. It was disgusting. I never leave reviews and it makes me sad that I have to be this brutally honest but hopefully you find benefits from my comments.

We stay every year with our kids and grandkids to do the lights at Thanksgiving point. The rooms are comfortable and the location is good. This year I opened the microwave and the prior guests Pyrex bowl was stuck to the glass tray. Then I pulled out the large saucepan and it was covered in crusted on food. So disgusting. I checked the smaller pan and it was almost as bad. To their credit, when I called the front desk they immediately brought up a brand new pan. Also if you are a tub person you’re out of luck. The drain will not close to fill the tub. It forces you into showering. Not great!! On a bright note Taylor at the front desk was absolutely amazing. Excellent customer service. Overall a solid three star. Dissatisfied in the cleanliness for sure!!

We were here for three days during Thanksgiving. The first three days were excellent. The last day was not. Breakfast area not maintained, each dining table had spills and syrup on them. Trash was full. I don’t know where the attendant was. Other than this breakfast everything was quite pleasant !
