There's only 1 person who can speak English - not always on site. Only hot shower is working-the cold barely works so be quick before it burns your skin. Dirty swimming pool, I was waiting it cleaned for 7 consecutive, no avail. Towels are all worn out- looks like a dirty floor rug. Whilst they can't speak english the kitchen staffs are friendly and willing to help. There was 2 consecutive days intermitent power outage when I was there - no generator on 1st night. Very good location, walking distance from shops, cafes and restaurants. Excellent, very peasant staff. My room was spacious, with a small refrigerator, which is quite unusual for mid-range accommodation, but welcomed. Also plenty of electrical outlets, which is again unusual. The private bathroom had on-demand hot water in the shower, and shampoo, conditioner and liquid soap were provided. The only negative was the free breakfast, as it was a bit meagre. Coffee, tea, juices, croissants and mini toast provided, with jam, etc. But no fresh fruit, eggs, cheese and meat, which would have been nice. In spite of this, an overall pleasant experience. I would definitely stay here again in future.

Convenient for exploring Puerto Iguazu and falls

The location is super convenient - a couple blocks from the bus/taxi station, a couple blocks from the spectacular hummingbird gardens, and close to lots of restaurants, shops, and conveniences. The room was clean and was freshened each day with fresh towels, which was lovely. The staff were super helpful and tolerated my broken Portuguese and Spanish. No one there spoke English. They allowed us to stash our luggage for the day after we checked out. The pool was kept up and mostly clean (minus a few stray leaves) - made for a refreshing dip one afternoon. The room facilities weren't spectacular and a little run down (especially the shower), but everything worked fine (TV, AC, fridge, etc.). Breakfast included fresh bread and croissants, coffee, and juice.

Avoid

Despite being very cheap, our stay somehow still managed to significantly fall short of expectations. Our rooms were very uncomfortable, one shower was completely rusted, the sink was covered in an unknown brown substance, black mold was in abundance in the bathrooms, and spiders were regularly spotted. Some in our crew opted to relocate mid-trip to ensure a good night of sleep, and I wish I had done the same. Would not stay here again.

Room is spacious, but barely have water coming out from the shower. You will practically use hot water for shower so you have to do it very quickly before you burn your skin. Not easy speak with reception because they can only speak spanish-except for one. Towels looks like rugs, old thin and brittle.
