The room has new furniture which was nice but the resort itself needs a ton of updates. The tiles on the walls, the roofing, the cement - everything had cracks and needed some TLC.

Staff was very courteous. The rooms were dated but they were in the process of updating them, so they should be very nice. The resort overall was great. Some restaurants were ok. Our food at the Italian restaurant was cold so that was disappointing. But the buffet and the snack bar tacos and burgers were delicious!!

Room was clean with a good ocean view. AC was good enough (read in reviews that others had problems with AC in rooms but ours was fine). Food was mostly good. Bbq in the buffet restaurant every day. Salads, veggies and fruits were plentiful and varied. Liked the fact that there was a minimum of theme nights at hotel, assuming that’s because it’s adults only! Really enjoyed no screaming kids! Did not attend any of the entertainment in the evening nor did we visit the à la carte restaurants in resort.

All the staff on the resort were very nice. The buffet was quick to be seated never had to wait. The food was usually the same, sometimes left over options from the other restaurants. Main pool was heated which was nice, never full. Chairs were usually all reserved by 7 am. The roof top pool was very cold and usually crowded with people just taking pool pictures or pictures of the view. The rooms were a bit dated but I did see they were updating the furniture in rooms daily. The housekeeping of the rooms were subpar, they usually did a quick clean. Bar service was great they were fast and always serviced the pool area.

The food was awful! We are not picky eaters. All of the hot food everywhere (except the family buffet) was cold. All of the restaurants had great service but the food was underwhelming or completely bizarre. Rooms were extremely outdated and needed some repairs done ( sliding doors don’t lock, mold and dust in the air conditioner,etc).
