Service was below average with some staff friendly and others never even smiling. Incredibly, 90% of the staff speak VERY poor english. Communicating was very difficult. FInally after 3 attempts to surprise my wife for her birthday with simple champagne, flowers and baloons in the room - it was a complete failure and had to fight to get partial refund for the debacle.

We were here from Oct 27 to Nov3. The first five days were great mostly mexicans and a few canadians and americans. Great to meet all those people. Staff was fantastic. You could get a cabana or pool chair at any time of day. Then on November 2nd a bunch of loser americans and canadians came in and were saving the cabanas at 7am with furniture and personal items and then with towels after the towel hut opened at 8am. Every chair and cabana says no reserving seats. We sat at some saved chairs at 8:30 by 10 o clock the place is still half empty. So we moved to a cabana two hours later people came and said its theirs. Told them to go talk to the manager. They had saved 4 cabanas in a row. People like this are complete jerks. why are you saving seats at 8 am when you don't show up till noon?
