The view was good, the bed was comfortable, but room amenities were lacking, no extra towels, no hand towels, no coffee, no Kleenex, toilet was leaking on the floor and didn’t flush properly. We were moved to another room for the second night but had to vacate first room at 11:00 and could not move to the new room until 3:00. The second room was very noisy.

Would stay here again! Beautiful property on the sands of Puerto Vallarta with amazing views no matter what room you book. Staff was so sweet and room was up-to-date. Clean and comfy. Walking distance to almost everything.

The location of the Emperador can't be beat, with direct beachside dining and sunning opportunities at your doorstep. It's situated in the heart of the Zona Romantica, surrounded by restaurants and shops. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the hotel was clean, but the decor and fixtures are in desperate need of a glow-up in order to stay at the level of its competition.

No parking, we just got extremely lucky to find parking close by on the street. Staff was no help at all with parking suggestions. Room was not what I expected when booking and they wanted to much money to upgrade.

I stayed a week here - property right on beach and I was upgraded to an ocean view room with a balcony. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location in the heart of the zone romantically. Lots of eating choices within minutes walk. One negative - bathroom had a weird smell - perhaps it was water - but not a deal breaker for an affordable ocean view. Restaurant downstairs on beach connected to property. A little old fashioned and not the chic-est but comfortable clean and convenient.

This property is aged and is not well-maintained, yet it is located directly on the beach. The staff was very extremely nice and professional. We loved the beach and the rooftop. The only negative point was our city-view room had a window facing the hallway to access other rooms on that floor. Because of this, we had no privacy in our room. If I had known this I would not have booked this hotel.

Place is hard to communicate. Had a personal issue they didnt want to make it right in anyway. I been patient and their excuse they cant do nothing about it (which they can, but dont want to). I will not be staying here again and dont recommend it.

Great location and comfortable for a great price

This was my first time in PV. My plan was to have a clean, comfortable, affordable place to stay in a good location. This hotel covered that plan. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel, just sleep, shower, and relax. If your looking for a central location, close to lots of restaurants, the Malacon, and a 5-10 minute walk to the bus to take you to the beaches to the south, this hotel is perfect.

Overwhelming garlic. Sewer and fried fish smell.

This is a great location. The bed was very confortable great for my back. They were very accomodating because I need a fridge for my med and they put a mini fridge in my room. This all takes aways because this room has an unbearable stench of garlic. There is no point in opening the patio door because of pungent smell of fried fish. Too bad they gave Hotels.com such a lousy room. If you book 411 be prepared to stay out till late and make sure to leave the a/c on and close the bathroom door leaving a towel in front of the door.
