This is a beautiful property high above the Zona Romantica. Not walkable but easy to get around via taxi or Uber. The staff were extremely helpful and professional. The included buffet breakfast was delicious with multiple choices to satisfy everyone! This hearty breakfast carried us well into the day. The pools were lovely tho perhaps more chaise lounges would be helpful as there were often not quite enough to go around. the rooftop pool / bar offered an outstanding view of the bay. Our unit of 3 bedrooms was spacious tho the decor was sparse, could use a few table lamps for improved lighting.

First Rate Hotel. I Wish I Could Write More.
When I write a review, its usually as a warning to other about a property. This is one of the rare hotels that gets the exact opposite. I am at the top level with Marriott rewards and none of the properties that I stayed at last year come close to the level of service that the Grand Miramar does. The property is stunning! Rooms are large with a kitchen (no oven) and beautiful views. Beds are super comfortable. Not like marshmallow soft beds at many places I have to stay at. This is not a party hotel like ones in the Romantic Zone and hopefully it will stay that way. But it’s only minutes by cab to all the action. It is a steep incline up and down to the hotel. They have a once daily delivery and return shuttle. I did not use it because it is only 4 to 6 dollars (each way) by cab. Once you are at the property though, you are literally the King of the Hill. The beauty and serenity make it hard to leave the hotel. The staff at the hotel is just off the charts. At the start I was like an abused stray dog that was so confused by the polite level of service. By the end of my stay, I was a completely changed man. I wish that I had gotten more cash to tip them. PLEASE tip these folks if you can. You will see, they are just outstanding in every way. From the folks that greet you when you arrive to every single other person you will encounter at the property. They work hard with and are uniformly kind. Just know you’ll be taken care of at this hotel.

A great Gem above the city.
Wow, this place was amazing as every room has the best view. The property is spotless and the rooms are huge. The free breakfast in the morning is absolutely delightful and the staff so friendly especially Eguarado. The pools are wonderful and like them I believe that every hotel needs an adult pool only section(well done). The taxis are quick and only a $10 cab ride to the Zona Romantica which we headed to every night. This truly is a gem and one of my favorites places to stay in PV as I go every year. It is so peaceful, clean, and very safe as they checked you in every night. There are just 2 things to improve to help with the next trip: a. I wish they explained the visitor policy at the start as we had friends turned away in an abrupt manor who came to see the place and visit with us for a future stay. b. Our Viator Trip tour guy was shaken down for money as he was not a regular taxi from one of the local taxi cab drivers outside hotel. I would need to just inform the bell guy next time.
