Host not responsive. Requested the host’s phone number several times and they would not provide. Once we checked in, a number was provided but we could only leave messages. We called the number for one issue and we never received a return call. All contact was only via email & text, which was very difficult.Property not in the location advertised – In the VRBO “View in Map,” the property is shown near the beach, but discovered it was actually in the hills after booking and received the street address. Being senior citizens, this was very concerning to us. We notified the host immediately to discuss the issue. Never got a response. As we feared, the property was very difficult to access.Additionally:Washing machine broken - not usable - host contacted & did not fixNo place to hang towels in bathroomsKeyless door lock failed and unit could not be locked from outsideRequested code to use back access gate. Host never provided.Hot tub was not hot. Water level too low for jets to function properly.Setting the above issues aside, the unit itself was very nice, but poorly managed.
