This is a fairly big, family friendly resort, i liked that there was an adult only pool, we spent a lot of time there. I did several spin, yoga and Pilates classes with visiting instructors from NRGtogo, the two i had were both great. Our first room was terrible, damp with lots of condensation on the windows, we were eventually moved to a room in the opposite building, which was fine, with functioning ac and no dampness issues. We found the food to be very good. The staff/servers work incredibly hard in the restaurants, all were attentive. The Italian restaurant was probably our favourite. The restaurant reservation system leaves a lot to be desired. You need to get up early and get in line for reservations and it’s a bit chaotic. It was nice to have the Pergola open for breakfast on the weekends, the last time i was at the resort, Pergola was open every morning for al la carte breakfast. They are continuing to do renovations to the resort, the main lobby and bar will be nice when complete. Overall, great spot, walkable beach, good food/drinks, service, heated pools. We will be back.

This is our second year vacationing at Marival Emotions. We loved our stay! The kids loved Adriana and Ricardo in the Kids Club, the pools, and the shows in the evening. We hope to be back next year as well.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Marival Emotions and we are already planning to go back. The resort is very clean and the staff are very friendly and kind. They have great amenities, we especially enjoyed the Michael Jackson show and my one year old daughter loved the kid’s pool. The food was better than we expected, there’s lot of variety. We’re not too adventurous when it comes to food, but we could always find something we enjoyed. We really enjoyed the Italian restaurant. The rooms are fairly modern and the shower is great. The beds are ok, a bit firm for my liking. Our only complaints would be that when we checked in, the room we booked was not available and originally they told us that we would need to come back every morning at 9 am to see if another guest had checked out early. But it eventually got sorted and we got the room we booked after the first night. Although the staff were generally very kind and friendly, the front desk staff weren’t super helpful. There were also a number of days that our room didn’t get cleaned. Granted my daughter had to nap usually around 1 or 2 so we were in the room at those times. The cleaning staff also often forgot to give us certain things like hand towels or face cloths. Finally the pool deck was really slippery so we had to be very careful with our one year old as she slipped and fell a few times and we saw a woman slip and fall and hit her head. All in all we really enjoyed our two weeks and would definitely go back.

My husband and I spent our 33rd birthdays at the marival and we really enjoyed our stay. A very family friendly resort but we found there was equal entertainment for adults too. Lots going on each day. Pool games, parties, night club, theatre, vendors. Beautiful beach. Clean. The food was good. Drinks were good. Service was great.

We have been to PV many times but this was the first time at this resort. It is not a huge resort but just the right size and they had great shows at night. The staff was friendly and welcoming-especially Renee(greeted us right away) Fabian and Cristhian at Italian restaurant. Dalia lobby bar AMAZING and Alejandra at the pool bar by the adult pool. They were doing some renovations at the time but nothing to annoy you, only downfall was that a few bars and restaurants were not open due to this. We definitely would stay here again.

This resort did not meet my expectations, especially food options. It was impossible to reserve a restaurant for dinner and we had to call the manager to give us reservations. The staff at reservations is terrible, not helpful and borderline rude. The food in the buffet was bad, no variety, just the same very spicy Mexican dishes all the time. Terrible coffee and very annoying service where you put the plate on the table and they almost immediately take it without even asking if you are finished with the meal. Will not be coming back to this resort.

A group of us headed down for my husband and I’s wedding and a large portion of us got hands foot mouth disease, it is sure making its way around that resort. The food was good along with the service. Be sure to make sure you are sanitizing regularly if you decide to stay here.

Enjoyed our stay. Food was average. Staff were good but were not enough of them, often waiting for drinks to be delivered long after we'd finished our meals. Pool and beach lovely. Enjoyed the night time entertainment, so much effort went into the outdoor evenings. Very much appreciated. Cocktails at the poolside bar were great. Lots for kids. Our toddler thoroughly enjoyed.

The resort & the staff are very good & pleasant. The bathroom fan & the air conditioner are very loud. The light above the bathroom sink is very poor; should have better lighting. The shower drain was not working; we had to ask them to clean it to have better drainage. The toilet sit could have been adjusted. Perhaps a regular inspection by housekeeping is required. Not much choice for evening dining. Late dining is available; but it conflicts with the evening entertainment. There should be more advertising about the daily entertainment . It was difficult to make dinner reservations. Perhaps this could be made available online for the customers.

Ricardo and Adrianna from the kids club were awesome with my Grandkids I would return just because of them .The food in Casa Bella I would give a 5 out of 10 not alot of flavor and the meat was all over cooked .The rooms were clean but the beds could use an upgrading.

First time, but not last time! Excellent for kids/families. Evening events & Kids buffet were really awesome - resort went above & beyond, especially Fiesta Night Tuesday & Kids Fiesta Friday. Shows were high quality, entertaining, though wish were a little earlier. 9pm is late for kids. Clean, well kept, delicious food, accomodating staff. Our only caution is if you're travelling with littles that afternoon nap - don't get rooms that overlook main pool. Music during the day is VERY loud. But other side of building is fine.
