WHAT IS THE MARCELA RESORT & SPA?
With its exclusive hillside location offering stunning views of Banderas Bay and the town of Puerto Vallarta, the Marcela Resort & Spa offers guests a truly memorable vacation experience. This quaint boutique resort gives vacationers a unique sense of privacy in this popular tourist town. Each villa has a full kitchen and its own balcony or patio with breathtaking ocean views. The resort also features a series of five cascading pools with an adjacent pool bar and an on-site restaurant, which is available for all meals and room service. First and foremost, you get access to both of the 4th-floor luxury suites-Villa Hortensias and Casita Hortensias.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM THE FOURTH FLOOR SUITES?

SUITE #1:
Let's start with Villa Hortensias. This suite offers Marcela guests over 1,900 square feet of living space with a wraparound outdoor patio and truly spectacular views of the Pacific and the resort's terraced gardens and waterfalls.
This majestic fourth-floor villa is defined by its smooth canterra stone archways that are adorned gracefully with delicate Mexican rosewood, a luxurious outdoor patio, one-of-a-kind native furniture and indigenous art, and two stunning bedrooms.

Upon entering this jaw-dropping villa, you will be greeting by panoramic views of the living and dining rooms and, just beyond, outside the windowed accordion doors, the glistening blue ocean.

The master bedroom is awash in blues and dark woods, inviting you to slip inside and experience a rare kind of serenity. The master bathroom also features an oversized square-jetted Jacuzzi soaking tub that is bookended by windows to let light and a breeze flow through in addition to its beautifully tiled stall shower, sink, and toilet. This bedroom suite's doors open up to a covered patio overlooking the terraced gardens and waterfalls as well as providing a clear sightline to the ocean and the old town of Puerto Vallarta below. The second bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and is alive with teal walls, a pink-and-yellow striped quilt, rustic wood furniture, and closets with enough storage to accommodate a stay of any length. Both bedrooms in Villa Hortensias have HDTVs so you can lounge in total comfort.

You can brew your morning coffee and cook in the villa's impressive kitchen with marble countertops, a 6-burner stove, and commercial grade oven. You'll also find a blender, tea kettle, dishwasher, microwave, and all of the pots, pans, stoneware, and flatware you will need to feel right at home during your stay at the Marcela Resort & Spa.

Another advantage of this amazing villa is that its entrance lets you out at the street level of our campus, allowing you to easily walk across the street to our on-site fitness center and luxury spa.

SUITE #2:
Now, let's talk about Casita Hortensias. One of Marcela's most popular (and comfortable) hideaways, this suite offers travellers a spacious queen bedroom with a private patio to relax in solitude during a refreshing Puerto Vallarta escape.

The terracotta tile floors in the kitchen, dining, and living rooms will be cool on your feet as you emerge each morning to greet the day with a cup of coffee or tea and watch the world go peacefully by from the casita's limoncello yellow chairs. Sit at the four-top glass table or take your breakfast on the sofa and gaze out the fourth-floor windows upon the ocean and the port city's Zona Romántica district.

You can prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the villa's kitchen with marble countertops, a 6-burner stove, and oven. You'll also find a blender, tea kettle, dishwasher, microwave, and all of the pots, pans, stoneware, and flatware you will need to feel right at home during your stay at the Marcela Resort & Spa.
