The hotel is wonderful!!! From the moment you step in the door you are in another reality. Whimsical, elegant and artistic decor that will lift your spirits and captivate your senses. You are greeted by friendly caring staff that seem anxious to make your stay memorable. Our room was bright with a great view of the restaurants and shops in the heart of upper town. We were in a Classic room that was very spacious, clean and had all the amenities we needed and wanted. The kitchenette is fully stocked with utensils, dishes, glasses, mugs, pot and frypan. Everything you need including electric teapot, microwave/convection oven, two countertop burners, coffeemaker with pods for regular and decaf. Creamers in fridge. The heated floor in the bathroom was a treat as well as a rain shower-head and handheld shower-head. The room was so quiet we did not hear the other guests or any street noise. The included breakfast buffet had a nice variety although the choices were the same all 4 mornings we partook. I would suggest offering eggs made a different way. They were scrambled with seeds on them, ok once but not everyday. The best part is the location. We did not need to use our car as everything was in walking distance including lower town. I can’t say enough about how great our stay was and we will definitely come back to Monsieur Jean!!! It is evident they care about their guests.

Just returned home from our honeymoon in Quebec and our wonderful stay at Monsieur Jean. Wow! From the second you enter the lobby you can tell this is a different kind of hotel - in the best way. So much fun art in the lobby, including some beautiful rainbow chairs and even a machine that will print a short story for you! We loved our room with the city view - it was stylish, comfortable, and roomy! It was great to have a kitchen stocked with everything we might need for in-room dining, including plates, glasses, and cream for the Nespresso machine. Did I mention there was a stovetop?! This truly was one of my favorite hotels we’ve ever stayed at. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Quebec! 🐥
