Breathtaking views! The pictures don’t do justice to how beautiful it is. The rooms need a little of improvement, but every thing else is just amazing. The balcony in each room has ocean views, palms, mountains , the greenery and the pool! It was amazing to see the sunrise in the morning from our own balcony. The hotel staff was very polite . When I checked out I had left important things in my room and when I called back they had saved everything and were very helpful! The continental breakfast in the morning is included and for us it was just great being able to have breakfast with the amazing ocean views. This hotel is near to a historic place called the Tunel of Guajataca as well as. Our stay was great, and I would highly recommend it! I’m looking forward to staying again!

Tiene una vista espectacular. Podias abrir las puertas de la habitación y escuchar las olas. Totalmente relajante. Si abrias la puerta del balcon y la de entrada tenias ventilación cruzada, un aire acondicionado natural. La infinity pool estaba hermosa. Tiene buenas areas bien bonitas para hacer una boda de encanto. Es la mezcla de algo sencillo pero muy bonito. Las habitaciones son normales pero la vista es espectacular.

Rooms cleaned daily, employees were polite and very helpful, best vacation ever. Its near the beach, you can even go take a walk, it's so close. If not there's two pools that you can spend the day there.

Management was very understanding and processed a complete refund back to Expedia, which I will be expecting my complete refund in the amount of $887.58 from Hotels.com.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. While the facilities are a bit dated, the rooms are clean; and each room has an oceanfront view. There are 2 pools and direct beach access on the property. What we enjoyed most were the friendly, helpful staff and the laid back vibe of this quiet oasis.

We arrived to Hotel El Guajataca at night. It was NOT what we expected. While the staff were friendly and helpful, upon entering the room it felt dirty and very small. Wires from the small tv were hanging down. Our door to our patio did not even latch closed or lock. The worst part of all was that the extremely small bathroom had mold on the ceiling. It also had a strong smell. Being close to the ocean was great, but in this particular room the sound of the waves pounding the nearby rocks vibrated our room, making it difficult to sleep. Not to mention the bed only had a sheet on it. We found a light fleece blanket in the closet and asked for more from the front desk, which they only had two to offer. No comforter on the bed made for an uncomfortable night. The only bright side on Night #1 was that the hotel did follow through on flowers fresh fruit to celebrate our anniversary trip (we did pay for this). After finally
