Coco Beach Village is the quintessential example of a perfect hotel! Location is perfect in a less dense village of Matapalo which is perfect for a quiet getaway. Ron and Tammy, the founders, are the most gracious of hosts. We enjoyed the every minute spent with them. Their staff Teddy and Ivan were amazing as well. Great vibes! If you are looking to experience the best of Costa Rica with out the madness of a dense city, look no further! The beach which is 1 minute away is by far the nicest beach we have ever seen. Virgin, natural untouched coast lines as far as the eye can see in both directions. Spectacular sunsets over the ocean horizons. I can't rave enough about the location of Coco Beach Village. I truly understand why they call the country Costa Rica... because they truly have a "Rich Coast" and Coco Beach Village is at the heart of it.

We had a great vacation at COCO Beach Village! We stayed four nights over the Christmas holiday. COCO Beach Village is located about 500 feet or so from the soft beach sands of Playa Matapalo. This location suited us perfectly because it is more serene and private than other areas in Costa Rica. We were amongst the first to stay at the hotel and found it freshly new and clean and distinctly colorful. Each room is themed and we got the beautiful blue mermaid room. Nice custom tiles line the floor and large wood and glass doors frame the tropical garden and lagoon pool. The hotel is secure with modern amenities including nice bedding, fixtures, and appliances. The owners of the hotel and their staff were always smiling and very helpful. We felt immediately at home. It was clear that Ron and Tammy gave a great deal of attention to the construction of their property. We enjoyed learning about the process of building a resort in Costa Rica and getting to know their dynamic histories. Ron personally took us down to A katchete- a nearby restaurant about two minutes walk where we were provided with all of our morning breakfasts. The food was tasty and the service was excellent there as well. The entire experience was memorable and we hope to return soon. We give our highest recommendation for COCO Beach Village, Savegre, Costa Rica. How we got there: Upon arrival at SJO airport we walked 3 minutes over to the domestic terminal and counter booked a puddle jumper Sansa Airlines flight
