The property is in a fantastic location, very close to the train station, and offers spectacular views. However, the overall experience was not comfortable and the hotel is clearly in need of major upgrades.
We got a double room on the top floor, but it lacked basic amenities like air conditioning. The windows were very small for viewing. Small room with bed had no air conditioning and even windows could not be opened, making the room extremely hot and uncomfortable. We ended up sweating through the sleep. When we raised this with the front desk, we were given a small portable fan, which was both noisy and ineffective.
The bed was not comfortable, and the sofa in the lower level was worn and torn. The room itself felt like a converted attic, with very low ceilings on the upper level that required constant caution to avoid hitting our heads.
Although we only stayed for one night, the price was quite high, and we expected much better value. At a minimum, a comfortable bed and proper climate control should be standard.
The location is excellent, the staff was friendly, and the views are breathtaking—but the property urgently needs significant upgrades to justify its pricing.
