We stayed here on our first and last night of our 5 day trip around Iceland. Our first room was very basic and the configuration was a bit odd with a basin in the far left corner right next to the bed. We also had a shared bathroom which was in good condition. There were approx. 2 bathrooms between 5 rooms which i thought was very sufficient. Our room on our last night was much better and included a private bathroom. Overall, the rooms were nice and comfortable and good value. The breakfast was very nice too with scrambled eggs, fruit, cereal etc. The staff were also great and stayed back an extra 10mins for us to check in. Unfortunately, we didn't have any time in Reykjavik but the location seemed pretty central and convenient with a supermarket around the corner.
