The Neighborhood:
Located in the quiet forest community of Rhododendron, this home offers a peaceful setting near Mt. Hood’s popular attractions. You’ll be a short drive from Government Camp, Timberline Lodge, Mt. Hood Skibowl, and miles of hiking and biking trails. Nearby, you’ll also find cozy cafes, breweries, and general stores. It’s the perfect location for nature lovers looking to stay close to adventure while enjoying a wooded setting.
Getting Around:
🚶 Walking — This mountain retreat is nestled in the Mt. Hood area, surrounded by nature. While not a walkable urban setting, the wooded surroundings and outdoor recreation more than make up for it.
🚗 Driving — A car is recommended for getting around. The area is well connected via US-26. Free parking at the property.
🏔️ Recreation — Explore Mt. Hood ski resorts, hiking trails, and the Sandy River by car. The charming town of Sandy has groceries, dining, and supplies.
✈️ Airport — Allow for traffic and mountain weather when planning the drive to PDX via US-26 West.

We welcome up to two dogs with the pet fee. Our cleaning team cleans between stays, though we can't guarantee 100% dander-free for allergy-sensitive guests

Please observe the quiet hours in your booking’s house rules.
🚭 No Smoking or Vaping
Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere on the property, indoors or outdoors. Guests who wish to smoke or vape must leave the property completely.
Interior stairs connect the levels. No outdoor fires are permitted.

The far bedroom with the two smaller beds has weaker central heat. A supplemental space heater is kept in that bedroom.

We're available by message anytime and typically respond within minutes. We're local to Portland and happy to help with anything - from restaurant recommendations to a quick answer at midnight when you can't find something. We keep a hands-off approach unless you need us, and when you do, we're right there.
