I just stayed here 2 weeks. The property was deceiving from the pictures. Not exactly the quality portrayed. The place could use some updates. The breakfast spread was really good but was crowded if you don’t get there early. I recommend being early and you won’t be disappointed. The cleaning staff was very unfortunate. I know different staff clean different rooms so I can’t speak for all. The cleanliness of the over all hotel was good. The surrounding area was to be expected. I came to Brazil and stayed in the city. There is a lot of poverty. That being said there was so many fantastic little restaurants to eat at. Places you wouldn’t expect. There was an amazing little coffee shop straight down the road on the way to the beach. The tours the hotel provides were great. The staff at the front desk were incredible. They were so helpful, polite and gentleman. I forget the gentleman’s name but he is a jujitsu instructor. He was great and so were all his colleagues. They made my stay at the hotel worth it. Pleasure seeing them each day. I would recommend this place to a friend. Hospitality and politeness go along way and I feel I got that here.
