Shuttle to the Mayo definitely a plus. Very clean! Excellent Value! But the night clerk did not like his job and was not a good ambassador for Quality Hotels.

Perfectly easy stay with am actual full-of-choices breakfast bar. When was the last time you had a sausage, egg, and cheese croissant as "breakfast included"? I did yesterday!!!

We had a great stay here, I was nervous when I pulled up and it looked like a motel with outside doors. I got inside, it was clean and welcoming. Both front desk gentlemen I encountered were friendly. I loved our room, it had a living room and kitchen with a full size fridge. Everything was updated, fridge was old, but spotless and kept everything cold. The room was so quiet, we didnt hear a peep from anyone around us. I would highly recommend this hotel!

It’s an older hotel, but the room was updated and clean, the mattress was comfy, and the pillows had substance unlike most hotel pillows! I will be back as my son will be attending school in Rochester.

Breakfast “buffet” was packaged foods to reheat. Ran out of packaged gravey, which was alright since it tasted like cardboard. Fishtank in lobby dirty and stunk. Supplies stacked in lobby not appealing.

Overall location is fine. Right across the fair grounds. Our room lock was not fixed nor secure enough for us. We liked the space and kitchen, but bring your own amenities like glasses or plates. Very disappointed someone entered our room while we were not there and set our alarm clock to go off at 12:00AM 2 nights out of the 3 we were there. 1st night and 3rd night. Shuttle to the clinic seems good.

Everything worn and torn!

I am not sure where the other reviews and photos came from but not this hotel. It was so old inside our room it that if it wasn’t as late as it was - would have left immediately. Everything was worn and torn. The air conditioner had spilled liquid all over it, the phone was disgusting. I was appalled this had such high reviews. They were regular old bed frames with hardest mattresses. The fridge smelled awful. It was a HORRIBLE experience.

Older, inexpensive, get what you pay for

Two story place, no elevator, which isnt good for people with stair trouble and hauling suitcases. Big rooms with suites, carpeted. Four issues 1) breakfast is minimal. Juice, coffee, breads, yoghurt, cereal, hard boiled eggs, waffles. Plus it onlyvgoes until 9 am, and then they lick up everything but the coffee. 2) maid service is EVERY THREE DAYS and 3) I found the couches and chairs made me itchy! Looked for bedbugs, didnt see any signs but creeped me out 4) only heat control is in bedroom. The living room was HOT

Desperately needs updating. Heating units are loud and never stop running. Shower fixtures are falling apart and the ceiling tiles looked sketchy. Would be great for an affordable extended stay due to the size and kitchen amenities, but you’d have to be willing to accept that you’re basically staying in a “fixer-upper”.

This place was very clean and gentle. The staff was very kind. I was taken by surprise to discover no elevator and I was on the 2nd floor, and I use a cane. However the staff was very kind and helped me get upstairs. I just wish I had known that before arriving so I would have planned better.

Okay stay

Very friendly and helpful staff. There were lipstick stains on my pillow and they gave me a new pillowcase. They also confurmed that the top sheets are always washed as there were also stains. Unfortunately, there were plastic wrappers under my bed so it was hard for me to not question how clean our room was even though the rest looked fine. There were no outlets near the bed for a breathing machine, but the staff provided an extension cord. The fan in the room had a "constant on" button that didn't work so it went on and off all night and we didn't sleep the first night, but staff provided a portable fan for the second. They also offered for us to change rooms, but we only had one more night and didn't want to move everything and take a chance. We also had a toilet that you had to flush twice. Once to flush and a second time to fill. All of the staff was very friendly and helped to mitigate things that went wrong so that is why we stayed the second night rather than leave.

Awesome place to stay

Wonderful hotel and very friendly staff! Rooms are very large. Bed extremely comfortable. Hotel is situated in a great neighborhood and location. (Across from Graham Park)Lots of restaurants and shops. This is my new place to stay when going to the Mayo Clinic! Absolutely loved it!
