I had the most pleasant stay for 2 nights at this hotel! Stefano was very kind and welcoming and communicated so well with me before, during, and after my stay he is so kind! I arrived an hour later after a flight delay and he stayed longer before closing to welcome me and show me my room. The breakfast is so great and staff are so friendly and attentive to all guests. The location was perfect and close to all the important sites as well as local stations. I will definitely return after this amazing 5 star experience and recommend this hotel to everyone when they visit Rome!

We were pleasantly surprised by the comfort and size of the room as well as the included breakfast. It was also fairly close to the metro/train station. We would consider staying here again the next time we visit Rome.

The people running it are nice. The cleaners left the key in my door and someone could’ve gotten in there and taken my things. WiFi kept stopping in the room. Lovely woman that works there and stefano were very kind.

Pros: First and foremost, Stefano was very responsive, helpful and accommodating. He answered all my many questions. The room was lovely, located minutes from many restaurants, grocery stores, shopping and of course the Colosseum and Forum. He and his staff were so very polite and so friendly, it was a true joy. We were warmly greeted upon arrival (you’ll need to give a window of time of your arrival) and showed to our room where there was a lovely bottle of waive, fruit and bottle of water waiting for us. They brought breakfast to our room to enjoy daily. Good light breakfast. Bed was comfortable and a “true kingsize bed” as per North American standards (it was our experience in Italy that king could mean Queen at times). Room was cleaned daily (no longer always the case post Covid). I would also recommend that you connect with Stefano to book a shuttle to pick you up from the airport as the lineup to get a taxi can be very long. It’s about the same price. We didn’t do that, but we did on the return back to the airport. Also a mention to Oyana was also very sweet and helpful. Cons: Honestly, not much to note here. We’d stay here again in a heart beat.

It was lovely. The staff was very handy and helpful for all information I needed in terms of public transportation, restaurants and local attractions. The only issue is that the wall is a bit thin and I got to hear the noise made next room. In general, I had such a pleasant experience staying here.

A comfortable stay, loved it!

A comfortable stay, loved it! I stayed for one night but wished my travel schedule allowed for more. The room was well equipped. Comfortable bed and good size room. I really appreciated the complimentary fruits and bottle of water. Location was perfect, very close to the Metro and a 15mins walk to Roma Termini. It is also a quiet and safe neighborhood, with lots of nearby restaurants. Breakfast was adequate. It was also good to see that covid prevention measures were in place. The overall establishment felt very safe. Check-in and check-out were very smooth. Both Stefano and David were very pleasant. I look forward to staying at Domus Flaviae next time I visit Rome!

pleasant simple accommodation, convenient location

This is a simple and fairly basic, but perfectly pleasant place to stay, reasonably priced, and convenient to the train station, though a bit of a longer walk to the main parts of central Rome. The manager and the staff were friendly and helpful; they welcomed us, and in the morning we got nice breakfasts in the room. The set up is a few rooms (I think only 3 or 4) and a small kitchen where the staff prepares the breakfast (there doesn't seem to be any staff there long-term, though I presume someone is always nearby). The bathroom was smallish but clean and efficient, and the room pleasant (one small oddity was that our room had a window that opened up onto an internal passage, so we had no direct window onto the outside). The wifi worked fine.
