Property was located in a safe nice area walkable to many attractions. I did not like the fact that there was no sense of urgency when international people arrive early in the morning and they do not want to accommodate getting into their rooms early. Just a “too bad for you” attitude which I have not experienced in countries outside of Europe. Staff were passive aggressive and the bellman brought wrong luggage to our room and then couldn’t locate our bags. We ended up getting them but this was not a great experience checking in. Also bad smell coming from one of our rooms bathrooms- sewage which was unpleasant. When I alerted staff to this no offer to change rooms just sprayed our room with air fresher which does not resolve the issue. Breakfast was included and solid. I would pass in staying here again and would not recommend.

The property is well Located , very good breakfast the staff is very nice. But the Hotel itself is extremely outdated ,run down and dirty The elevator doors has paint stain all over it. After checking in the room ,they gave me was very dirty with a bad carpet odor that it triggered my asthma. I went to the front desk and reported the problem, they did and inspection of the room and gladly put me in another room which was less dirty but still has run down furniture. This hotel has potential to be a very nice hotel but is in needs of major renovations.

a good choice in Rome

the Empire has become our go-to hotel in Rome. It's close enough to walk to Termini, but it's not a station hotel. It has a traditional ambience and terrific staff.

Big room with 2 separate rooms which was perfect as I was traveling with my mother. We each had our own space with a king bed in bedroom, and full size pullout couch in attached living room. Room was clean but dated, I imagine they will renovate soon. Location was nice, fairly quiet, with several good restaurants in surrounding blocks. Front desk team was helpful with directions and recommendations for restaurants along with making the reservations on our behalf. Walking distance to all major landmarks in Rome but a little outside the craziness closer to Trevi Fountain/Pantheon etc. Lovely breakfast spread each day. Thank you!

Lovely architecture and location. Room was very clean and bed very comfortable. On a quiet street but a short 10 minute walk to the city center. Restaurants were outstanding. The Blue Bar is a full restauraunt as well. Loved my sea bass dinner.

Amazing hotel for stay in Rome. Near of here you can find the best pizzeria and gelato shop too. Quiet and clean , easy to access tourist site in Rome too. The best hotel in Rome for me
