The lobby and restuarant were more impressive than the actual rooms. The rooms are very basic with no storage area. Obviously I paid for VIP Access but never received any of the benefits. The hotel is close to the Colosseum which was nice. They need to add some luggage racks and shelves in the bathrooms so you have places to put things. Some of the staff was friendly while others gave the impression they didn't care much for Americans, but that was the whole vibe of Rome actually.

Roberto the concierge was helpful and gracious. Excellent English language skills made me feel comfortable and his knowledge regarding Rome and the surrounding countryside was very useful for someone who was a first time visitor. Housekeeping staff also great, room always looked tidy and clean when returning after day of tours. Would rebook this hotel on next stay on Rome.
