Thank you for your kind review, we like to inform you that you've booked a "basic" structure so you should not expect more than what a basic one can offer. Hotel Versailles is in the city center in front of the ancient roman walls (270 aC.), close to many important sites but Rome city center is very big and noone can be close to everything! ;-) we are sorry but we think comminication with the reception has been missing! Hotel Versailles thanks you for your feedback and apologise to you for the inconvenience abou speaking to loud of night receptionist we have solved the problem... About cigarettes smell, Hotel Versailles is a NO SMOKING structure but and this is clearly indicated there are no ashtray in the rooms and in all the structure, obviousely we cannot control customers while they are in their rooms.
