The property is in a great area close to Piazza Navona and short walks to Trevis Fountain, Spanish Steps and Vatican City. It was clean with a comfortable bed but there was not daily housekeeping or breakfast as suggested. The biggest downside is the noise not only from outside (which is understandable given location) but zero soundproofing means you can hear every word, TV, toilet flush from reception and other rooms, which really negatively impacted the experience.

Beautiful apartment in the perfect location. Easily walkable to Colosseum as well as Vatican City in under 20 minutes. Beautiful plaza one block away in many many fantastic restaurants and shopping all within a five minute walk. Marlon who greeted us on site was extremely helpful and a pleasure to work with. Would definitely book this spot again.

I’d recommend if you really want a jacuzzi, if you don’t plan to use it I’m not sure on the value. The staff is very helpful but I’d rate it as average because despite the great location, and the personal touch because: - triple room is not really a triple, the other bed is essentially a foot ottoman that folds out and the photos on the space are misreading, jacuzzi is right across from the bed - 3 flights of very scary thin steps - the shower was totally clogged and required a Plummer to come, which they did the same day - they do not clean your room everyday or leave nearly enough towels for a jacuzzi room, the floor was always wet in both the bathroom and main room with jacuzzi because you only have one small window with practically no natural light - nowhere to put anything in the shower, not a single shelf or ledge - limited bathroom counter space - no mirror except in bathroom, not a full length or otherwise A few improvements would go a long way for comfort!

Great Service

I was very satisfied with this stay with the exception of the stairs. I was prepared for going up 3 floors to my room. What I was not prepared for is the type of stairs. The stairway is a narrow, spiral staircase with no landings to speak of. As a person who has fallen down stairs, this stairway intimated me. I think the type of stairs should be described in the listing. Otherwise, I would stay with them again. I was told they have rooms in other buildings, so maybe I will see them again.

Everything good, except jets on jacuzzi tub were not functioning correctly. With jets totally covered with water- water was shooting out of tub all over bathroom. Shower in that same tub also malfunctioning. The only other thing, there are no dishes in kitchen. It’s fully stocked for cooking- but no plates or cups. Otherwise- location is perfect

Terrible check in, avoid

The check-in process is bad. We rang the bell for the hotel and no answer. We rang the telephone number on the booking only to be told the person "was not the owner" and we'd have to wait for someone to show up. 40+ minutes later, someone finally checked us in. The hotel is comfy enough. The room was dark, the toilet seat was too small for the toilet (which was strange and uncomfortable), the breakfast was poor and not as described. I would not stay here again. The location was good though.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The owners were highly communicative prior to our arrival and even booked our arrival and departure transportation to the hotel, which I compared to an Uber rate and found to be extremely competitive yet far more convenient since they were waiting inside the terminal upon our arrival... knowing exactly where to take us. The owners met us at the apartment to provide a tour of the unit and its facilities. Being a 1400 yr old building, we had a small bathroom and some low ceilings, but overall the place was comfortable with incredible character. The location was AMAZING... so central and convenient to everything... with restaurants just outside the front door. Very cool! I highly recommend this property and will gladly return!

Really enjoyed our stay at the Navona Rooms. The location is nearly perfect. It's in the cutest little Piazza with a ton of dining and shopping options, and is only steps from Piazza Navona. The staff could not have been nicer, and was quick to respond to our requests. The room itself was quite large, especially for the location. Bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very clean, if not a little dusty. The downsides, as other reviews mention, are the steps up to room. I called them the "death stairs" because they are narrow, spiral, and steep. We planned our whole day around not having to take them more than once. Thankfully the gentleman running the place carried our bags up and down - I don't know what I would have done. I did not lower my rating for the stairs, because it is not something they can control being in an old building in Rome. That being said, I did reduce my rating slightly because of the shower situation. Again, it is an old building, but they really need to get their plumbing updated. The shower would go back and forth from freezing to scalding to freezing again, over and over. One night after a particularly cold day outside, the shower never got hot at all. They could also use some shelving in the shower to hold toiletries. Overall, we had a great stay.

This is an AirBNB

This is not a hotel or a guest house. These are suites in residential buildings. They’re AirBNB. No room cleaning between days, no offer to change towels, not even enough toilet paper. No front desk to ask for help in getting neighbours to be quiet late at night. No taxis allowed to drive in this area so you’re walking in and out with your bags. As a VIP member we were supposed to have a bottle of wine waiting - we had to ask for it, and then it was dropped off without notification of room entry. Floors need cleaning. Lights above the bath are loose and flash like a strobe. Kitchen walls have food splashes. And these are not “hot tubs”, they’re bathtubs. The owners are quite nice and good with communication but you have to organize an exact meeting time which can be hard when travelling. In all, the establishment advertisement is misleading and we were very disappointed

We had a lovely stay at Navona Rooms! The rooms were clean and comfortable and walking distance to all the sights we wanted to see! Would definitely recommend and stay again! Also had the best dinner just a few minutes away at Mimi & Coco!

The apartment downstairs had an extremely loud party blasting bad dance music with extremely loud bass till 230am. 4 flights of narrow spiral stairs. No jacuzzi.
