The Palais Romain apartment is exactly as depicted in the listing photographs- large and beautifully decorated with quality antiques. It is located on a lively (mainly pedestrian) street lined wth cafes and shops. The apartment is up 3 flights of stairs which is enough to insulate it from the street noise. The location is perfect for getting to the major sites of Rome. It is very nice to have a wonderful place to retreat to after a long day of touring. Regis (the owner) was very attentive and helpful. Highly recommended.

Elegant. Refined. Classic. Old World. Romantic. Memorable. Comfortable. Spacious. I can hardly think of all the very positive adjectives I would use to describe this place. we had a wonderful seven nights day in this whole world palace that is out fitted with oil paintings, sumptuous curtains, beautiful rugs, and every modern convenience. The location is central to all the sites that you want to walk to in the historic center of Rome on a lively Street with a bustleing night scene that provides several nearby cafés, Trattoria bars, pizza shop, tiramisu shop everything you can think of. Our gracious host regis was very welcoming and attentive to our every need. highly recommend! I felt like I got lucky and really hit a home run with this one. perfect for two couples or party of three as we had.
