Multiple Personalities

I booked with "Suite Valadier" which advertises as a Luxury Bed and Breakfast. The website for Suite Validier lists the address as being on via del Babuino, 186 and even shows a picture of the buzzer to press on the door -- however this buzzer didn't get a response when I rang it, so I tried around the corner with the main hotel entrance on Via della Fontanella. I was checking in around 2:30 PM and my room wasn't quite ready yet - so was instructed to wait in the lounge where I was offered a complimentary beverage. When my room was finally ready, there was a nice treat of fresh strawberries and dark chocolate along with a bottle of water and delicious biscuits. Not sure if it was an apology for the room not being ready - or standard for Suite bookings, but it was appreciated. This hotel also has a popular piano bar on the ground floor and a night club on the top floor - so you would do well to invest in some quality ear plugs (I bought the 3M foam cheapies, but they did the job). You should also be aware that all of the electrical outlets - except for the one in the in-room safe - are the older style three-in-a-row variety rather than the two-prong plug that most travel adapters offer. The in-room-safe however has a very versatile interface, and I was able to plug my UK plug in directly without an adapter.

A gem in the heart of Rome

Fantastically located by Piazza Popolo this gem of a hotel is beautiful and most importantly the nicest staff. Make sure to try out the rooftop bar/ restaurant and please have dinner at the ground floor restaurant Brillo. Also thanks to Daniel for showing us the Jazz club/bar in the hotel.

Bueno para ser Hotel en Roma!!

La ubicacion del Hotel es Increíble cerca de todo caminando , el Wifi extremadamente MALO la habitación que me dieron quedaba en el 5to piso y tenia que tomar 2 ascensores, para subir al 5to y después tomar otro en otro edificio para bajar un piso, el Restaurant que esta en la terraza es muy caro para lo que es.
