Room was great, balcony view was amazing in the mornings. Loved the “happy hour” treat. Close to shop and dine. Had been looking forward to staying here and it did not disappoint.

The only complaint was checking in - and not just with us but I noticed others having the same issue. When we walked up to the counter but there was no one at the front desk. My wife and I were talking as we waited and after about 4-5 minutes I tried to call out to a man who was folding sheets in the laundry area in the back. Only then did a young woman come around from behind the wall to check us in. As we were leaving the hotel this afternoon a man was standing there in the same situation. He looked at me and I told him to call out for assistance and immediately they came around the corner. I believe a simple bell to ring would fix everything. The young woman was very friendly - just needs to stay out front or have a bell. Wonderful staff - clean place - and loved the history of the hotel!!

The building itself is no frills and a little dated, but the staff are so friendly and the happy hour snacks and drinks were a pleasant surprise. Very convenient location. Love the sitting area by the river and the balcony our room had which also had a view of the river. Would stay again.

Wow! Highly recommend this property. The staff is really friendly and full of great information. The evening wine, beer, and snacks was fabulous. We're looking forward to breakfast!
