Smelly rooms

Room had a musty, wet odor. Allergies were flaring up inside the room but I was ok outside and in the other hotel we stayed at so I know it wasn’t just me. If you’re just staying overnight for a rest it might be ok but not a place I’d stay for a week. Although the room was not great customer service was pretty good, we were able to get refunded for the rest of our reserved nights and was able to go to another hotel with no hassle.

Check in agent was rude. The room, however, was clean. I didn’t understand the concept of checking in and walking back across the parking lot to my room, glad it wasn’t raining! The beds were comfortable and access to gas stations was quick.

Check in was easy and the staff was great. Full hot breakfast was good. The location right of I-37 is perfect for us as we go straight down to Port Aransas. Only thing that was aggravating is we were next to the ice machine. Several people were getting ice at 5:00am and woke us up.
