The staff was friendly and helpful. Free parking on site. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was pretty small. And the bathroom door is just a sliding barn door style board which doesn’t offer much privacy. Overall we were satisfied and would stay there again.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Surfbreak Hotel! Julie at the reception was so sweet and welcoming — she answered all my questions and made the check-in process easy. The room was very clean and nicely decorated, with cute little plants here and there, and the Roku TV made it feel even cozier. I also loved the thoughtful touches like the lotion and makeup remover provided. The shower had great water pressure, and the bed was super comfortable. Overall, the hotel and service exceeded my expectations. It’s in a great location — close to shops, coffee spots, restaurants, and just a four-minute drive to the beach!

My husband and I stayed at the Surbreak about 4 years ago and thought it was so cute and in a great location. I'm disappointed to say that returning this time, we found it's gone down hill. Overall, the room felt a bit dingy and neglected: bits of dust and hair in the corners, as well as a false eyelash on the floor, no hand towels, and the sink smelled like sewer. In the middle of the night we awoke to a loud bang and found the shower curtain had completely fallen down. The cleaning and property care could use some attention.

THE STAFF WAS AMAZING!!! Super kind and helped with anything we needed. Manager was amazing, she was so kind and helped us with all the problems we had. Room service was so sweet and cleaned our room nicely everyday. This hotel is beautiful and in a great spot. Loved every minute of our stay. Thank you Surfbreak hotel!

Drawers were very dusty.. we hung up some clothes and left the rest in our luggage bag. Bed was very uncomfortable... sagged towards the middle. WIFI was horrible. Noise from freeway was too much. Havinh noone at the front desk most of the time was very impersonal and the nymber they give you to call... no one answers.
