Great property for my family and small dog. Hosts were extremely responsive and friendly. It is an upstairs unit so I did feel bad for the downstairs with my little running around, but didn’t have any issues. Probably just me worrying. Great Kitchen and the patio in the back was great to sit and relax. Parking was a headache if you have a big vehicle, but that is just Mission Beach. If you know, you know. Overall an outstanding stay and beautiful beach place!

The place was exactly as described. Clean and well stocked. There really isn’t much of an outdoor area, just a small patio. We didn’t have kids or dogs so it wasn’t an issue for us, but a small yard would be nice for little people. It was perfect for adults and we loved it.

Perfect Mission Beach location

Our family enjoyed our Spring Break stay at the property. We were able to walk to the beach and many restaurants and activities in the area. It was also a quick drive away to get to the Zoo and downtown San Diego. We would definitely stay there again.

Great location, nice and clean, comfortable Small easy fixes needed but overall the place was great and enjoyable. Kitchen well equipped (but may need salt/pepper. Had blender and electric tea kettle and coffee maker were great adds. We really had more good things to say than bad. Parking was tight for a full size truck but do-able! Easy walk to beach, coffee and taco stand nearby. Great time had-thank you! Fix it notes: ceiling fan light in first bedroom not working well creating strobe effect. Fan in 2nd bedroom very noisy. Freezer had small issue closing-creating some frost and bathroom toilet paper holder broken. Master patio door hinges need to be screwed down more so door opens easier.

We enjoyed our stay!

We traveled to San Diego with our family of five and overall had a wonderful stay. The condo is really cute and super close to the beach and was a short driving distance to all of the attractions we wanted to visit. The door to the patio off of the master bedroom was stuck, we reached out to the rental company who said they would come check it out but never did. The master bathroom water pressure leaves something to be desired and note for future guests I wish we’d figured out sooner, the second bathroom temperature is in reverse. Turn to cold for hot! And the toilet paper holder was missing, not an issue, I just don’t want to be held responsible for it. The kitchen was really nice and while we didn’t cook seemed well equipped. The neighborhood is walkable and quiet, and again, that access to the beach, so great!

Special Weekend in San Diego

The property was 5 stars all around. Location to beach and bay was perfect. Added parking behind the unit was great. We definitely felt a beach vibe with the decor. There were two things we couldn’t figure out: how to open the door to the master balcony and get hot water in the first shower. Perhaps it was us but we missed out on those two items. Thank you for making the experience great.

Apartment is top floor, good location

The apartment is a second floor. There is a porch off the master, but the door did not open, so it was inaccessible. The space was clean. Rug in living space needs replacing. Kitchen is well stocked. Parking spot is challenging to get into. Location is excellent, accessible to all areas of San Diego.

Great location but house not clean

The location for this house is perfect. Two minute walk to the beach and bay. Unfortunately, it was not clean in areas. When we arrived there was a strong musty smell in the house. We opened all windows to air it out and left for a few hours. The next morning when I went to make coffee the grounds were left in the coffee pot and were all moldy. Probably why the house smelt. The view on the listing show the nice view out the patio window of the deck and palm trees. This view was not so nice since the windows had a thin layer of dirt on them. After showering there was water on the floor so I wiped it up. The white towel was now dirty. Clearly the floors were not washed. I took pictures of the areas and sent them to the local team. They offered to come have the house cleaned. It was Christmas Eve day. I did not want them cleaning around us, it was family time. It was simpler for me to do it. We pay a cleaning fee so I asked for some to be returned since it wasn't as clean as it should be. The local team said no. I have rented from Vacasa before and everything was perfect. I wish I had the same feeling for this location. I have never given a bad review, it is not my way. However this time the situation warranted it!
