Great hotel, brilliant location

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Caza and we would recommend it. The location is brilliant for exploring San Francisco and it is easy walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf Pier 39, a number of restaurants and the tram. Nick on reception was especially helpful and gave us a very warm welcome on arrival. The room was spacious and comfortable although had very few plug sockets which would be our only comment. Bikes are available for rental which is a really nice touch although you need to be there early as there's no way to reserve them - there was a bit of a mix up when we tried to take them out as we were told that we couldn't take them out as it was still raining - when we went back as soon as it had stopped raining, the bikes had all been taken which was a shame. However, reception helped us with a rental and we ended up taking a tandem out which we wouldn't otherwise have done, which was great fun! Overall a great stay and we would definitely return!

Good location. Easy parking. Clean and staff is friendly. AC in room is loud so if you cannot sleep with some noise, it is a problem. As vip hotel and platinum status, late checkout was given for extra hour only not sure if vip hotels are worth it anymore. Also no upgrade, not even mentioned during check in

The staff was very friendly from the front desk folks to the cleaners, everyone was so friend and helpful with any and all of our needs. The beds were so comfortable and the rooms were very clean. My only complaint is that my water pressure in the shower was low making it hard to wash my hair. We were within walking distance of Pier 39 and a lot of food places. They were all excellent, especially the breakfast places, weres so good. Would highly recommend staying here.
