On our stay in San Francisco at The Orchard Hotel at Bush and Powell, the staff was helpful and friendly. Always attentive making accomodation for our early arrival based on availability was a relief allowing us to check in early and get on our way to a wedding rehearsal. Rooms were very clean and roomy, comfortable beds, room service was excellent and great price for the hotel quality. We didn't eat at the hotel, a local cafe around the corner was exactly what we were looking for each morning, Roxanne's Cafe had cozy friendly service and excellent food. There was also a local pizzeria across the street and a Walgreens a block away plus local market close by. The only thing that was inconvenient were plugs for tech not available at night stands, though there were electrical outlets to plug in devices. Be sure to take your plugs and wires! Rooms were exceptionally quiet and restful. I would stay there on my next trip to San Fran, its centrally located near many fun and exciting places with local transportation readily available to access. Good Travels!
