We flew in late and decided to just stay at an airport hotel rather than venture out to our rental being tired and it being dark out. This hotel is pretty basic and dated but it served the purpose for an overnight stay. We took the shuttle from the airport. It was actually a bit scary when the shuttle turned off the highway onto a dirt road with no lighting. The area seemed a bit sketchy. The price was very reasonable. My booking did not include breakfast though so I did find $10 )”($USD) expensive for a limited breakfast.

Our first visit to Costa Rica. We were impressed by the hospitality and friendliness of the Costa Rican people. The hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious, and include a TV, air conditioning, a safe, bathroom amenities, bed linens, and a coffee machine. A shuttle service to and from the airport is available. The car, frankly, isn't very comfortable (especially if you have large luggage), but that's not the main issue. We had a decent breakfast: an omelet, fruit, juice, coffee, a slice of bacon, cheese, butter, and jam. The staff is pleasant, but not everyone speaks English. The reception staff was great! They were welcoming and friendly! The grounds around the hotel are beautifully maintained, and the pool is clean. Birds sing in the mornings, and the air is incredibly fresh. People from big cities will understand! Overall, Costa Rica has incredible nature, climate, and ocean views! We loved the hotel. We recommend it and will come back again! Thank you so much guys! 🤗🙏❤️

The shuttle was easy to find and waiting for us despite our delayed flight, which was a big plus. The hotel isn’t far from the airport, but as others mentioned, it’s not in the most pleasant area. To be fair, it matches its description and meets expectations for a 3-star stay. However, I wouldn’t return, as the savings don’t quite make up for the loss in convenience compared to nearby big-chain hotels like Holiday Inn or Hampton, which are closer to the airport with 24/7 shuttles and easy rental car access.

Hotel Aeropuerto

This hotel is older in age and isn't the most prestigious looking one either. But I have to say that the rooms are comfortable, clean, and the staff are all excellent. The pool area is very nice and the surroundings are really green and kept up. There is good water pressure and hot water all day. There is a restaurant connected to it and although they have a limited menu, the food was delicious. You can order from the restaurant and they can deliver it to your room if you want to eat in. The staff all speak English and are very accommodating and friendly. I have zero complaints about this hotel. It is low key, comfortable, and a great place to enjoy some peace.
