Art like a museum

Wonderful as usual!! Except, I showed up one hour before check-in and the person at the reception desk made me wait the hour instead of checking to see if the room was available. It hasn't a matter of cleaning or it not being ready she was completely inflexible. I found this to be an odd way to treat a guest. First time this happened to me at this hotel. Many staff members recognized me and one person who lives in the apartments. So I l9ve the hotel and zI complied. Sge saw me sitting ther for an hr and when I checked-in it wasn't a problem for me to get my room. If I hadn't gotten up to ask I don't think she would have assisted.

Clean and artsy hotel with a unique decoration. Beautiful to walk around inside but very loud. The walls are paper thin, we could hear our neighbors and people down the hall. Worst of all was a loud ring bell every 30-minutes that was going ALL NIGHT! In the morning, the shower was lukewarm, my wife could not shower.

This hotel is so unique. It is full of the owner's personal and very robust art collection. Its like going to an art gallery or museum! Loved it! In a very nice area of town as well. The buffet brrakfast was great! There is also a wonderful Italian restaurant just across the parking lot, it was excellent.

The hotel was very nice. Our room was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Efren and Alex were great. The regular meals were good and reasonably priced. The only disappointments were that the pool area bar was closed and the breakfast buffet was terrible. Selection was very limited, not replenished, when empty, and food was cold.

Rooms were very nice and we had the breakfast included which was good and convenient. There is artwork all over the hotel with some interesting pieces. I liked it. The view from pool area on 3rd fl is great if you need a place to relax between tours.

Hidden Gem in San Jose

We loved our stay here. We got in to San Jose after a long day of travel and Studio Hotel was the perfect place to land for a night before continuing on our way. The hotel is in a gated area and felt extremely safe. The rooms were very comfortable, great bedding/pillows and we especially appreciated the black out shades. The pool is beautiful. The breakfast was delicious! The hotel itself was unique and fun with so much beautiful artwork to enjoy. We had a great time and already plan to stay again when we come back to San Jose for our flight home.

This is becoming our go-to hotel in San Jose. The art collection is of a quality one does not find outside a museum. The staff is excellent, the rooms are well-appointed and comfortable. Highly recommend.
