Great place with charming hosts
This is a lovely little place with friendly, helpful, and responsive hosts. There are restaurants and other necessities within walking distance. They offer a simple breakfast with good coffee and there's a small, pretty garden where you can sit outdoors. We only spent one night before leaving for the airport, but highly recommend it.

I liked the building and furnishings very much. The one staff person I met was really, really kind. Unexpectedly I did have to share a bathroom, but it went fairly well. Someone in a room on the other side of the back lawn talked all night long though. It was a male voice. I did not know who to contact, so just slept with a pillow over my head. This shouldn’t have been allowed to happen. I suspect no staff was on site at night? So I downgraded the overall rating as guests deserve better sleeping conditions. Probably won’t go back there myself. Had i had a night without a lunatic guest, I probably would go back.

The owner was friendly and thoughtful. She provided helpful tips on getting around San Jose. The house provides a comfortable environment for travelers. Rooms are clean though some facilities can be improved. Overall, it's an enjoyable stay.

There were so many things to like, for example, the house is a Spanish type one, it is within walking distance from the food court which also contains a grocery. It was cosy, comfortable and homely, the staff was very accommodating which made you feel to stay.

We really like the service Mireya and Carolina were excellent they go above and beyond to give an excellent service they work very hard Carolina specially was incredibly helpful she even was our taxi to wherever we needed to go she is a hard worker and honest person
