Enjoy a beautiful and spacious home located within Hacienda Paloma gated community. The house is fully furnished with 4 bedrooms and 2 ½ bathrooms sleeping up to 8 -10 people comfortably. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, walk in closet, and a full bathroom with Jacuzzi tub. Two rooms each have a queen sized bed and one room has two twin beds. There are TV’s in 3 of the bedrooms and a very large one in the living room. Outside, there is luxurious patio area that is fully furnished including a BBQ grill, bar area, and a large landscaped yard with forest views!

Loved staying here! It was a nice quiet neighborhood. We didn’t use the pool as much as we thought because Luquillo beach was so beautiful and there are so many things to do in PR. We had a great time exploring the eastern portion of the island.

Everything stood out. The was beautiful and for the most part very well appointed for all our needs. I was very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the patio. It was covered so we it rain or shine and saw some beautiful rainbows. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had. Thank you, Joel, we had a great time. We would defiantly recommend!!!!

Overall Great Stay!

Joel was an amazing host. Before our check in he called to introduce himself and ensure I had contact information to connect with him if needed. When I did reach out he was very responsive, responding quicky with the information requested. My family and I truly enjoyed our time at this beautiful property. It had everything needed for a beach vacay and was very spacious nicely accommodating my family of 7!

4 Night Stay

The unit was perfect size for the family with 5 adults and 3 children. The kitchen was useful as we cooked most of our meals. We were able to clean our clothes in the washer before taking our cruise. The beach toys were nice and the water hose in the garage.

The unit was adequately cleaned with exception of the stove. We encountered numerous problems while staying at the property. The television in the main bedroom did not work until halfway through our stay. The host neglected to tell us about the pets (roaches). Two of the air conditioners were not functioning properly and left huge pools of water on the floor which we were constantly cleaning until he sent the repair guy out 2 days later. There were also a number of other small issues. I must be fair and note that the host was responsive but I feel some of the issues that we incurred were due to poor maintenance because no one should be fighting roaches on their vacation. I also feel like the air conditioning should be in working order when you arrive. Due to the numerous issues we had with the unit, I did request a small refund of a portion of my money and the host declined.

Family Vacation

The house was big enough and comfortable for a big family, but the cleanliness of the house was questionable. There was a balloon left from the previous family and the kitchen was not as clean. We found a big roach by the main entrance and smaller roaches around the same area and the kitchen. The master bed was sinking in the middle and all the pillows were flat. Most of the information in the binder was outdated. However, Joel, the owner, was very helpful. I think that if the cleanliness and comfort improve, I wouldn’t mind staying there again.

Excellent for families

We stayed here with 4 adults and 4 kids. The house is spacious and the neighborhood is quiet , backing up to a large forested area (that cows come out of the trees to visit you at night sometimes lol). The basketball court and pool are easily accessed and our kids used them every day. There are plenty of family friendly beaches in Luquillo down the hill from the house. Everything you would need for a safe successful beach day is provided in the garage, chairs, mats, coolers, sunbrella etc. We did pack our own life vests for our littlest. We used a hose in the garage to clean up the kids after beach days which was really helpful to control the sand. El Yunque trailheads are easy to access from this house too. We arrived always when the parked opened at 8, and had no trouble parking inside. San Juan traffic can add an extra 30 mins to your drive during rush hour so be prepared for that, but any other time it’s only about 45 mins away. We kayaked with manatees and toured old San Juan and the Forts. You can get in to both forts with a 10 dollar ticket for adults and kids are free. You can buy a cheap kite on site in a large grassy area to fly with your kids and it’s awesome. Overall we found this house to be an excellent jumping off point and a super relaxing place to crash in the middle of the day or in the evenings.

Great rental!

This is our 3rd stay at Joel’s place! When I first looked it was booked for our dates so I viewed other rentals—read reviews about lost power, no water—basically a nightmare vacation. Joel’s rental has a new battery storage and we’ve never lost water or power! He was available anytime for questions (even with our 2am arrival time).Well stocked-my kids loved the beach toys! The pool right Nextdoor is a nice break from the nearby (amazing beach!) Close to everything-but in a quiet safe neighborhood. Can’t wait to visit next year!

Enjoyed our stay. House was very nice. The few drawbacks were, the ants, tv missing in a couple of bedrooms. The remote for the downstairs tv did not work well even when we put new batteries. 😞 Other than that this was a great house and the Joel was a great host who responded timely. The house was better than expected. The pictures do not do it justice. It was located in a agreat location, very close to the beach. Joel was attentive to our needs. There were a few things that didn't work. The light in the family room and the front door-we could not figure out how to open it. We just used the garage and it was fine.

This home was amazing! We stayed with my sister, my 3 kids and I as well as my fiancé and his 2 kids. I frequent the island but I wanted my family to also experience this beautiful place and needed something that could accommodate the 8 of us and this home was perfect, clean, spacious, and has a beautiful forestry backyard view. Just a few minutes from the rainforest, Luquillo beach, and the Kioskos and about 25 minute drive to seven seas beach where they have amazing snorkeling and only 30 minutes from the ferry to get to Culebra or Vieques islands. This home is much quieter and peaceful than what you will find in San Juan and the neighborhood is in a gated community, safe and small. Joel was also great and worked with me on a late checkout as our flights did not leave until the middle of the night and we had small children, he was always quick to respond and I am so thankful that we got the opportunity to stay in his rental home and we look forward to staying again.
