Me and my children and a few other family members stayed at this property for a family birthday celebration . Upon arrival to our first room the furniture was all broken and stains all over the bedding and carpet . The door was broken and couldn’t lock the phone didn’t work and the smell was moldy and unbearable . We complained and they moved us to another room then that room was well was no different we complained again and try to get our money back and then they offered us a third room the third room was exactly as the other 2 . This property also had roaches in my parents room walking around in there food. The hotel staff there thought we didn’t understand Spa

Our "queen room" was actually a huge suite! The bedroom was a separate room, and the suite had an almost full kitchen (no oven, but a stove, a full fridge/freezer, microwave, coffeemaker, blender, toaster, plates and glasses and silverware, even a dishwasher...). It seems like every room at this hotel had a balcony, which was excellent - we enjoyed ours in the mornings and evenings for sure. The building is clearly an older building, and some people would complain about the quality because of that, but not us. When we travel we go out a lot - we don't need a room for much but sleeping. And we don't need a room to be fancy - we just need to feel that we are safe in it when we're sleeping and that our belongings are secure in it when we're out. We don't mind an older building that's still perfectly functioning! In fact, it gives a hotel some charm, instead of it being indistinguishable from every other hotel. Outside, the (connected) pools are big and the seating areas around the pool are great, and the hours for the pool are wonderful. The access to the beach is also very close (right by the pool) and very nice. The location of the hotel is good, too - pharmacies, groceries, and restaurants are maybe a 5 minute drive away. The staff was always friendly and helpful, and the cleaning staff were great. We would definitely return to this hotel.

In the 5 nights my family and I stayed here we had our room cleaned onnce and all that was done was having the beds made. The bathroom was disgusting even after the “cleaning” they provided. We had to call muppe times to have the room cleaned and no one shower. We also had to constantly ask for towels to be replaced. I would not recommend being here with family.

The pool was the highlight of the entire hotel. Rooms aged, pealing paint in the bathtub, carpet has seen better days, sheets were dingy. The air conditioning worked great. I made a mistake and came to this location instead of Boqueron. It was too late to drive to that location upon arrive. I was told by the staff they had no rooms available. However, when I got on Expedia, I was able to get a room. Staff was not helpful. Nor did she attempt to look if there was any availability in her computer system. I would not stay again in the future. Lobby under construction. Parking was $14 per night. If I would have known The Embassy Suites was next door I would have stayed there instead.

We have been to this property several times. We usually come at least once a year.. This year, the property is showing signs of neglect and upkeep needed. The room walls had knocks of paint missing. The bathroom grout was disgusting and needs cleaning or regrout work. The pool, which usually is beautiful, had dirt and/ or algae/mold/mildew on the walls and floor. The grassy area was dirt and mud. So disappointed. This is usually our go-to place for a reliable quick get-away from the other side of the island. I can’t imagine my disappointment if I had chosen this as a real “vacation” spot.
