Everything went well at the property. The staff is friendly. The only thing which is still waiting to be resolved is that I paid for king size bed and received a queen size. Upon bringing this to the attention of the staff, I was told the Expedia reservation on their end stated I requested a king bed, not that it was included on the reservation. I sent over screenshots via email to the manager and was told there must be a mixup with expedias system. The resolution was to have Expedia follow up with a discount which the manager of the hotel stated he would approve. I submitted a complaint to Expedia as advised by the manager of the hotel and have yet to receive a resolution. Regardless of who’s fault it was between the hotel or Expedia, it should be on both parties to find a resolution for the guest, not the guest to have go back and forth between both parties.

The Armas hotel sits on the Plaza de Armas of San Juan, the city's historic main plaza. You can beat the amount of historical and cultural things to see and do that staying at this hotel provides. In addition, there are a wonderful array of restaurants in Viejo San Juan walkable from the hotel. As the old city can be heavily trafficked with tourists by day and night, the Armas hotel provides a quiet escape when one needs some time to regroup. It is clean, well climate controlled, and comfortable.

The stay was nice overall, and we appreciated the friendly staff. The hotel is in a great location just minutes from restaurants and tourist attractions, which made getting around easy and enjoyable. However, some of the pictures were a bit misleading. We thought the room we booked had windows and access to a pool, but it didn’t. That was a bit disappointing. After checkout, we were unexpectedly charged $200. We’re still unsure what the charge was for. I suggested my partner call to inquire, but he didn’t want the hassle. Despite these issues, we did enjoy ourselves and made the most of the trip.

This was the best experience ever, I will suggest to everyone Armas Hotel, hosting was amazing and so clean and nice. Also it is perfect if you plan to travel around Old San Juan, Armas is like in the middle of everything, you can walk everywhere from there. A big thanks to Armas hosting people for having us and treating me and my husband very nice.

This hotel is an excellent place to be when in Old San Juan. Located in the middle of everything and everywhere is at nice walking distance away. The staff is exceptional; there were very accommodating and made you feel like your home.

Stay was great! Thank you guys for great service. The only thing I had to say negative was the ac vent over the bed one night started dripping water on me and my fiance as we slept. It was from the condensation because it’s so humid outside. Other than that I had a great time!
