DO NOT STAY HERE !!! I really don’t write bad reviews just good ones if I’m so happy with the provided service. But this one I had to, i really don’t want anybody to be tricked and have bad experiences first day of vacation. I know it’s an old hotel and price was much less than other in that area so my expectations weren’t so big, but for money you pay at least you expect clean room, sheets, bathroom and towels! All above was dirty with big stains on sheets and towels, the lamp didn’t work , small wine refrigerator was so filthy with some milk and water that become already molded. Eddie reception guy was trying to fix it and made even bigger mess. He lied to me that he doesn’t have another room so when I decided to leave, he had one all of a sudden. Very bad experience!!!

The rooms were very run down, basically had black mold. Shower was always leaking to the point the floors were soaked and if you stepped on the wood water would leak out. Lights didn’t work, mainly appliances were broken. No microwave in case that matters to you! The bonuses of this is its very great location, so close to a beautiful beach, next to good restaurants. Very walkable. The staff are very friendly. It’s a great affordable option. I’d stay here again just for the price. If you are a college kid on a budget, I’d recommend it. If you are a family or older i’d suggest somewhere with more space and nicer facilities. Also note there is no pool on location! I believe it is a 14 or so minute walk, an easy one, and a very cute but small pool at the hotels sister location! Overall had a great trip, so not mad at the hotel!

The only good thing about this hotel is the location for the price. I didn’t mind that it was old and outdated, but the level of uncleanliness was completely unacceptable. The room was so dirty that we had to sleep in our clothes because the sheets were clearly not changed—there were stains on the pillows and even hair on the bed. The room itself was extremely small, which I expected, but the dust and peeling paint made it feel even worse. The bathroom was disgusting. There was no screen on the window, just metal shutters, and to top it off, there was an opened bottle of liquid shower gel sitting on the windowsill with the cap off—proof that housekeeping never even checked or cleaned the shower. We didn’t feel comfortable showering in such a dirty space. Adding to the nightmare, when we arrived late at night, there was no staff at the hotel. We had to call and wait for someone to come unlock the door and give us the keys. After suffering through one night, we refused to stay a second and had to book another hotel last-minute, which was a huge inconvenience. To make things worse, the hotel has a strict no-refund policy when booked through Expedia. No matter how bad your experience is, they will not refund you. If I could give zero stars, I would. Avoid this place at all costs!

Great hotel, could be cleaner.

It has a great location, friendly staff, and quiet. I didn't see a lot of other guests except for those waiting to check-in. The only room for improvement is that it could stand to be cleaner. I had to ask for fresh towels and I even took out my trash. It's very much a possibility that they are on a skeleton crew. It's ok because I do like to clean. I didn't spend that much time on the premises.

Hotel was fine for a few nights, but I couldn't use my closet due to the bed blocking it. The AC was nice. I normally like using my computer for work but there wasn't really a desk to use it in the room I got. Overall average hotel, decent price.

Room filthy, stains on linens and bed spread. Very, very worn pillows, bathroom caulking in terrible shape, floor not cleaned (my feet were black)! Staff not available most of the time. Our flat sheet was wet when we went to bed. Had to find front desk clerk for him to find us a dry one. Took awhile. Also only gave us one face cloth but they couldn’t come up with a second clean one for us. Forgot to give us room service the second day. No pool as advertised!!! Roof top terrace was dingy with only 2 plastic chairs! Room furniture very worn. I could go on and on! How does this property even rate any decent reviews? The location was the only positive thing. Please don’t stay here!!

The good is that the property is in a great location right by Coronado Beach and lots of fun places bars, restaurants and casino. The hotel furniture is old and best and beds are small and hard. It's the location that's the winner here.

Perfect location

This a budget boutique hotel. If you require many amneties and a fancy room, this is NOT a good place to stay. The staff is friendly and the location is perfect if all you need is a place to sleep.
