This place exceeded my expectations in many ways. Very clean and accommodating with easy check in. Would absolutely stay here again. Doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of some of the big resorts but if you’re not into all that then this place is for you!

Casa Ciana is no doubt a gem and testament to the resilience of the Puerto Rican people. After the hurricane, you can see some remnants of the devastation, but that has not stopped the people from living! The property is beautiful inside and out. Modern finishes and great space. Having 2 bedrooms was amazing- can’t get that with a hotel. There’s a tv in the living room for “group” watching but also one in each bedroom for your own respite when you’re peopled out and just want to introvert or need it to fall asleep. Lol. There is a designated parking lot across the street that was super convenient as well. Just before arriving you will receive a text msg with everything you need (building code, apt code) including a couple recommendations. What’s even better is you can text back! We arrived on Monday afternoon and generally the island was really quiet. Heading out on Thursday though we could see if start to liven up even in our area. Truly you could hear a pin drop from mon-wed. You should also know that the area where the property is… isn’t touristy. You are living with the locals. Old San Juan is about 15 minutes away. The beaches in Condado, Isla verde and ocean park about the same. I recommend renting a car. Parking was pretty easy for us but remember: Monday-Thursday. Things to consider - don’t leave food out especially sugar. Ants - no curtains to draw - no concierge- text only but very responsive - drive with caution lol- “stop” means yield in PR lol
