Tips: You have to take a ferry to the beach. It's beautiful and actually enjoyable. However, if you stay late, the last ferry leaves at 5:00. If you want to get off the beach at a decent time, get in line for the ferry not long after 4:00. Also, book dinner early in the day through the concierge. We only had a problem one night, but that was only for one restaurant and there were other options that worked well. And nothing to do with the resort, but BOOK YOUR BIO BAY TOUR BEFORE YOUR TRIP! They fill up fast. Also, Viejo San Juan (an hour from the resort by taxi) is well worth the trip just to see the Castillo San Felipe del Morro.

I would give it a thousand of ⭐️. I really enjoy my stay at El Conquistadors. Staff friendly, place always clean, great housekeeping, water park is great for family and friends, different sections of pools, swim up bar is great, overall my stay was amazing

This place is massive. The staff are very helpful. This property is still recovering from the last hurricane. It is a little pricey and many things need fixing, (had issues with elevators not working, lack of hot water in shower, parking scanners, and some restaurants are still down). But all in all good place for families. I do wish they would just charge for parking and stop this scanning system they have. It never worked and appears to be a waits of time and resources, maybe use the scanning for the valet parking only (like an upgrade charge).

Overall was a nice experience. Besides I pick pay at hotel & when u get there it’s an another $100 a night to charge your room. And more hotel fees. When I mentioned I was not notified of the extra fees the lady worked with me. Which was nice however, unknowingly the resort barelyyyy take cash and when you give cash w. Exact amount they look like it’s a foreign object to the point a supervisor has to confirm. Also if you want ocean view please know you will be at the bottom of the mountain and have to take 3 elevators to get to the main part of the hotel which has everything. Additionally, my son and I got stuck on the elevator in the villa. Thank God, the elevator service man was there to fix the problem while we were stuck, (How ironic). It’s pretty expensive for a single parent with 2 kids it was expensive. And the resort is a hr away from airport and expect to pay $60-$100 taxi to and from.

The property view was phenomenal. The staff was very hospitable. Great for families but enough pools that it never felt super crowded (even during spring break). Don't spend the extra money on the cabanas. No real perks

Food is WAY TOO OVERPRICED and not good or fresh at all. Other guest were c complaining also. We started eating off the resort and they're so many great options even across the street. We kept running into guest at offsite restaurants. Drinks very over priced. Every day the bathroom was "cleaned " the same hair remained in the tub from when we got there.

We stayed in one of the older rooms. The view was beautiful but the rugs needed some shampooing and the bathroom was dated. I wish that parking was included in the price, especially since you are paying resort fees on top of everything else

A great resort. You don’t need to leave the facility, but if you want to you can and there is authentic things to do outside the resort. Inside the resort is an oasis.

This resort has everything. Dining, private beach island, pools, shopping and a (small) water park. We stayed in the Condado area near San Juan for the first half of our trip before heading over to El Conquistador for the second half. My spouse and I agreed that our next PR trip we are heading straight to El Conquistador. Great service; clean and comfortable rooms. And the ocean view from our room was spectacular!

Since Puerto Rico doesn’t have traditional all-inclusive resorts, we did quite a bit of research before deciding on El Conquistador. The property itself is absolutely beautiful—the grounds are expansive and well-kept, and the view from our room was out of this world. That said, the food and drink options were just okay. Prices were high considering the quality, so if you plan to eat and drink at the resort, expect to spend several hundred dollars a day. Also, don’t expect to find traditional Puerto Rican food on-site—everything felt very Americanized, which was disappointing. We actually had to leave the resort to enjoy some authentic local cuisine. The high resort fees weren’t surprising, given the size and upkeep of the property, but they do add up quickly. One area that really missed the mark was the bathroom in our room. It was noticeably outdated, and the slow-draining tub was pretty unpleasant. For what we paid, I expected better attention to detail and upkeep in the rooms. Overall, the setting is gorgeous, and the experience was good—but for the price, there’s definitely room for improvement, especially with food quality and in-room maintenance.
