The beach is only about 2 blocks away and the staff there taking care of the umbrellas and chairs is very friendly (even when he was working on Christmas Day). Breakfast is standard Embassy-Suite, and the omelette line can get long at 9am (go earlier or go to the hot buffet side to the left). But the staff is efficient and friendly, and the tables get cleaned very quickly. The attached casino is good for killing a few hours.

The room was ok, but the service was terrible. We checked in to find no toilet paper and a huge pile of dirty sheets outside our door, along with a plastic bag holding a spare pillow in a bed. No one answered the phone when we called the front desk or housekeeping, so we had to go down ourselves. Even after reporting it, nothing was fixed—two hours later, still no toilet paper and the dirty pile was still there. I had to go back downstairs again just to get basic supplies because no one answered the phone. The pool is nice, but the service is nowhere near Hilton standards.

Front desk - Blanca - was extra helpful on check-in. We arrived early from a cruise and she gave us a provisional keycard so we could sit by the pool until she called to tell us our room was ready.
