The fan in the room would not shut off and ran constantly. When maintenance came they said that is how it is and he could shut off the system completely or we put up with the fan. We had 2 other couples staying in different rooms with us and they had no issues turning the fan off. It was hard to sleep with the noise. The breakfast buffet was not great. I’ve had better at a much cheaper hotel. Coffee was very thick and strong. Not much fruit and the cooked items were cold and over cooked. The pool area is nice and the beach is a short walk and very nice. The chairs and umbrellas were great and the person there was very helpful. The rooms are spacious with a separate bedroom. Very convenient for the airport but a longer ride into Old San Juan.

Staff was generally nice - one could learn how to smile. Breakfast was good. Room was nice and spacious. Table in the room was sticky - probably old varnish? I was greeted in the public restroom by a large cockroach - I took a picture - not a good restroom attendant! I was surprised that a shuttle was not available to the airport.

We came off a cruise at 8am at the hotel. We had three separate rooms. We each checked in and were told there was a good chance of early check in. One was offered an early room for an additional 60.00 which they declined. We were not but were told it would be a while which we expected with 4pm check in. One room was ready at 11am. The next at 2:30pm. We had plans for dinner stressed to the staff and asked if our room was available 4 x through 5pm when they finally found something for us.we had to be up and out at 3am. They were not helpful or friendly. I am a hilton honors was not treated as such. I strongly believe we were treated as such because we reserved thru expedia vs hilton the others reserved thru hilton. They only gave us our room because we were not happy for the 4th time and told us it was an upgrade which was not true. Our room had a moldy wet smell.
