Disliked: Cleanliness, room comfort
Great Location and Communication But...
Pros:
* Great location above Anita Gelato and by the hanging lights that everyone is trying to take a picture of.
* Great and easy communication
* Spacious and overall good matching decor.
* No elevator
Cons:
* Pests: Found german cockroaches around the kitchen area, particularly they hide under the counter. I was nervous sleeping in some of those nights with fears of cockroaches and mosquitos. I guess this is expected though of it being in this city area and above a restaurant.
* Kitchen and room is very dim in general. Not sure how one would easily cook with the low lighting.
* Could use more kitchen essentials like a colander
Weighing out these pros and cons, I think the price is fair at mid $100s a night for us during March.
* Not allowed to even flush toilet paper down! I think due to inadequate plumbing?
* Fan didn't work (with the controls by the main door).
* Location may be great but not too great if you're trying to hail a taxi/Uber. I would suggest walking a few minutes out like to Plaza Colon.
* Loud. Bring earplugs!
* Light pollution in morning. No way to cover the windows so I hope you're not too sensitive to the light if you're trying to sleep in!
