The unit itself is decent; the building is secure with security at the front desk, and key fobs are needed to access the building itself. I am baffled why the host doesn't offer parking access in the garage attached to the condo building itself, as there is an underground garage attached, which would offer convenience for guests. The details of this unit are what garnered a 1 star review, along with the host's dishonest mannerisms. For starters, the bathrooms were filthy. There was orange and yellow slimy hard water along the tile walls, along with rust, which was clearly from a lack of cleaning. The tops of the toilets had dust on them, which also indicated the unit was not freshly cleaned, or was done in a sub par manner. The counters also had debris in the corner near the sink in the kitchen. The pillows are pathetic and feel like they're stuffed with eyelashes they're so flat and unsupportive. There's a giant hole in the wall just outside the bathroom that the host tried to cover with a mirror, as well as water damage along the ceiling in the bedroom that was covered with two 2x4 pieces of wood, which concerns me in terms of mold. We were sick for 4 days after leaving this unit, so beware if you're asthmatic or respiratory compromised. Also, the exterior of the building appears to need repair, as the balcony from the street showed chunks of concrete missing from beneath. The host is also dishonest and tried accusing us of stains when we didn't even eat/drink inside.
