This was highway robbery. I was charged nearly 800 dollars for a room . The rate was clearly based on 4 people you can check the Expedia booking. The only reason we needed this hotel is because Cape Air canceled our original booking. I called the hotel to make sure the second bed would be made up they said it would . I also emailed. It was not done. We arrived and they gave us a hard time - “we don’t usually make up the extra bed.” Oh really you charged us for 4 adults and how many parties of 4 adults sleep in one bed? This was an expensive debacle and all of it because Cape Air cancelled our original flight. Pretty disappointing. I mean sure Expedia gave us a small credit towards this hotel but it’s still costing me 600 bucks for a very bad experience. I canceled the local hotel Expedia recommended bc of bad / scary reviews- and booked a national chain thinking they’d meet our needs with a certain standard of service. The worst part was the manager arguing with me. Staff/ manager get a thumbs down. And I still feel ripped off.

The check in was easy and smooth. The front desk staff is professional and friendly. We booked a room with a pull out sofa and they didn’t have linens for the sofa, but they brought them when we asked. We didn’t have time for breakfast. Easy checkout.

My only complaints i had to pay twice! Booked through hotels.com and they refused to honor the $xxx already paid which i have paid receipt stating $xxx paid. Expedia and hotels.com is pulling a bait and switch which has stolen over $xxx from my wife and I.

Most of our stay was fantastic. The staff is friendly. The hotel felt safe and secure. There was a musty smell in our room that hit you in the face every time you entered. Also, there wasn’t an ice machine anywhere I could find and the gentleman behind the desk didn’t know of any.

The hotel is great and the room is very spacious with fully kitchen. The hotel is very well located closed to everything, you can walk to the beach and other places or you can take Uber to visit other near attractions. My only concern about the room was that it had musty smell, so it needs more fresh air ventilation or a dehumidifier to prevent it. In general I had a fabulous 5 days stay!
