We experienced awesome and friendly service from the staff however the rooms were NOT good. Our 1st room (8th fl) smelled like mildew which you can smell getting off the elevator. Went down to the front desk and our room was switched to 3rd fl. Same thing. It was so much moisture in the air that my jacket stayed damp. We sprayed air fresheners and tried to make the best of it for our wkn trip. Then the plug plate randomly fell off by the vanity area, then water was dropping in the same area. The TV in the living room didn’t work and I tried to call room service and realized neither phone worked. Maintenance came on our last night and put in work order for the next day which is when we were leaving. Hotel location was good and not far from several fast food places and club strip. Breakfast was decent and so was the bar.

Gorgeous new property; I don’t think it is more than couple years old; with that in mind, staff are still working towards excellence and the hospitality of the Marriott legacy, keep that in mind alongside the culture difference. The staff that is there is so great and helpful, just be patient! The rooms do feel sort of damp but I think it has to do with the HVAC systems they use in the area, I was worried about the other comments about this from other reviews, but, I had no issues on my end nor any that the staff were ready to address as soon as I made them aware of. Parking; there is a free per night for parking, just ask the front desk about it; with the way their daily fee is set up, parking can be paid by that fee or used towards drinks at the bar. Overall, I didn’t go to PR just to stay at the hotel, so the service, the staff, the property and the location of the hotel serve its purpose beyond my expectations!

The hotel was in a nice location. We were able to walk to the beach and restaurants and the staff was friendly. However, there was a pervasive musty smell. We changed rooms and bought air fresheners but it was on every floor. It would be better if the room windows could open even just an inch or two.

I really liked the location and the friendly front desk staff. The daily resort fee was a shock. Everyone at the hotel seemed to have the same reaction. It is a pet friendly hotel so the hallways and rooms smell of pet urine in carpet. The pool area is wonderful and so is the location. It’s average for this reason.

I liked the location. I watched the airplanes land and takeoff. I also loves the convience of the stores and dining options. The beach is a 3 min walk which the Hotel provides beach chairs and umbrellas for free.

Very clean, modern property. 2 pools (1 for little kids). Clean, spacious, well lit gym with towels and water. Nice breakfast space and breakfast included with good options. Short walking distance to beach and restaurants (e.g. Metropol). Beach/pool towels available. Suggestion to hotel: running breakfast to 10 am - hard to get everyone up and downstairs before 9 on vacation.
