This is a really authentic place to stay. The location is so perfect. Watching the sunset next to a 500 year old fort was really cool. Being in this location makes it a bit expensive as far as drinks and food so, if your a foodie, I recommend doing a food tour. The rainforest was so beautiful. It was also a bit strenuous. Water shoes if you are doing the rainforest rock sliding. So as far as the actual hotel/ air bb. This place is very, very charming. I loved it. The pics online ARE a bit diffent. Little things only though. Like there was not a microwave or toaster. There Was a stove to though with pots and pans. And the set up in the bedroom was a bit diffent than the pics. MY particular group needed more blankets and maybe a few more beach towels. The ladder to get up there is a bit steep. All that said I WILL totally stay here again... I just love the old feel of everything. It felt like I was staying in a place full of history and that felt amazing,, if that makes sense. I'd rate at a 9.5.
