Very noisy as others have mentioned, but they do provide earplugs which helps a bit. The room was small but clean. Bed was hard as a rock. We walked to a nearby restaurant at night and felt safe. Be aware you have to carry your bags up the stairs. Not a problem for us but Iā€™m sure for some it would be. Cheap, clean, central accommodation for one short night.

First off , itā€™s in a part of town where youā€™re really on your own . Walked to to nice place for dinner , but although the people spoke English, they said the menu only comes in Spanish and no one would help us translate. So we all tried to use an app on our phone , and figured out duck and lamb . Thereā€™s no elevator, so going on a cruise from there and dragging large suitcases up and down stairs is very difficult. Then around 11 pm at night , the fire alarm went off . We all stumbled out of bed and grabbed what little we could . No fire , thank God but then why did it go off? Is it gonna happen again? Wouldnā€™t stay there again, as neighborhood unfriendly. Trash on sidewalks, and a lot of noise outside . The staff was friendly and apologized for the alarm that went on for a good 15 minutes.

This property was renovating the downstairs to include a little deli. The rooms were newly renovated and comfortable . We felt safe walking around the area. Lots of little local restaurants and bars along the main drag. We found a food truck court. 20 minutes walking distance that was just fabulous. The beach was about 30 to 40 minute walk. Well worth the walk.

Seeing pairs of earplugs for noise in the side table of the bed was an ominous sign. The room was on the corner of a busy street where at night loud motorcycles would roar past and in the morning buses and other larger vehicles woke us up. The rooms was exceptionally small and the bed was extra firm resulting in a poor night's sleep. I would not recommend this hotel or location. There are little choices for food in the area.

Awesome place in San Juan city center

This places is new and our room was in great shiny condition. The location is fantastic and the staff is very welcoming and friendly!
