The best hotel we have ever stayed at. The service and the attention to detail was impeccable and Walter & Sabine were amazing hosts. They gave us great restaurant recommendations and booked the reservations for us as well. The hotel and room were very clean and well decorated and there was nothing bad I could say about my experience at Castel Maurn. I will recommend this hotel to every single one of my friends and definitely come back. The breakfast was incredible and they deliver it straight to your room at the time you specify. The wellness area was very relaxing and I loved having the pool and gym as well with top of the line equipment. Every single part of my stay was a 10/10 and I couldn’t recommend them more. Thank you so much for the amazing hospitality and stay, we will definitely return.

Staying at Castel Maurn for our wedding weekend was truly one of our favorite experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, Walter and his entire team made us feel completely taken care of. We never had to worry about a thing - every detail was handled with so much warmth, thoughtfulness, and genuine hospitality. Coffee and breakfast were brought to our room each morning, the team shuttled us to dinners, and they were always there to help with anything we needed throughout the wedding weekend. Everyone works together so seamlessly, and by the end of our stay, we genuinely felt like family. The property itself is incredibly special. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the interiors are stunning, and there is so much history surrounding Castel Maurn, Walter’s family, and this part of the Dolomites. You can feel how much care has gone into preserving the character and soul of the hotel. Our stay was especially meaningful because we got engaged in the Dolomites a few years ago and, coincidentally, stayed directly across the street from Castel Maurn at Ansitz Wildberg. Coming back to the same place years later for our wedding, now surrounded by our closest family and friends, felt incredibly full circle. We already felt deeply connected to these mountains, but after this weekend, Castel Maurn will always hold an especially meaningful place in our hearts. We can’t recommend Walter, his wonderful team, and this beautiful hotel enough. Aamir & Emily
