If made reservations at this property for guests coming from out of town. The rooms are nice size but the exterior construction has been ongoing for almost a year.

I hadn't been to this property before. It's undergoing a redesign. Our room was remodeled and was really clean and nicely laid out. I have to give a huge compliment to the front desk staffer, Arman. Our A/C wasn't working, and he immediately moved us to a new room down the hall. He has fantastic customer service skills and was professional, pleasant, and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Over the two days, I enjoyed coffee, oatmeal with a nice mix of toppings, and wheat toast with P&J. Other items that I can recall include make-your-own-waffles, scrambled and hard-boiled eggs, pork sausage, Yoplait yogurt, and apples. The 1865 Craft House & Kitchen is right next door. Sat outside at a fire pit and had great cocktails. Overall, I found this hotel to be very quiet. However, if you're a lighter sleeper, you might consider bringing a fold-up travel fan. The room doors, while nice and secure, are heavy, and a few guests just let them slam closed. (I love my fan: Vornado 6" FIT Personal Air Circulator Fan in Aqua. $17 Walmart/Amazon) Side note: I wish parking didn't cost $15 per night. Not a deal breaker, but an annoying extra cost. I've stayed at several hotels in SLO. If you're visiting Cal Poly, it's very convenient to the dorm side of the school. I would definitely stay here again!

Very nice staff. Next door to a good restaurant/ bar. We ate there three nights in a row. Hotel entrance was being upgraded during our stay but didn’t affect our stay. Loads of parking. Close to Cal Poly University. We would stay again

Front desk staff at check in performed the minimum and weren’t especially friendly. Room was spotless and comfortable except for the loud a/c. We had to shut it off to sleep. The pool and outdoor fireplace was fun but the pool and spa really need cleaning/ resurfacing. The pool is a wading pool less than 4 feet deep.

Nice hotel with eating options within walking distance. Literally Nextdoor to 1865 Crafthouse which is a good place to grab some dinner and a drink.
