Misleading Parking Fees

Well, here's my reason for providing the rating that i did. On the Hotels.com web site ad, this hotel provided a price along with the stmt, "All taxes and fees included in the total." In addition, the 'What guests liked about the parking' stated, "Parking was convenient, easy to access, and often included or waived with room prepayment." I beg to differ... as I was charged an additional $15.00 per day for parking! I didnt find out about about this charge until checking out. I questioned the desk attendent and she stated, "It (the fee) was on the form you had to fill out regarding your car." This is why they not only disregard ever mentioning it upon check-in, but also highlight specific areas that they want you to fill out - none of which had a specific fee highlighted! The highlights are to make the customer focus only of those areas they want you. It's not that i cant afford an extra $15/day, but its the "shadiness" of it and the fact that the Hotels.com web site led me to believe one thing, then in the end it wasnt representative of the 'final' bill.

Nice San Luis Obispo hotel

We booked this location as part of a two day trip to San Luis Obispo, to sightsee and to see a show on Sunday night. This hotel was clean, quiet, comfortable, easy to check in and in a great location with lots of nearby food within walking distance.

What a huge, beautiful suite. I wasn’t expecting it, but they gave me one of the best they had. Real good location near many fine places downtown SLO! Huge bathtub and great views looking out the windows. The electric opening/closing curtains were impressive!

Be careful booking here. I booked weeks ago, and as I was driving to the hotel (6 hours away from home) they called at 8pm at night to cancel my reservation because the OVER SOLD THE ROOMS! Cooperate greed at its best.

It was a great experience overall. The staff was great they recommended some great places to eat and were tentative to our needs. The only things was that there was some construction going on and i guess they hit some wires and because of that we were not able to use the hot tub which i was very much looking forward to it

I always choose to stay here when I come to SLO. It is always reasonably priced and I love having the continental breakfast as an option in the mornings. Whether it's for business or for family time, it's always a great experience.
